Family Dogs Belong in Family House
A lovely property that was a special occasion and memory. In the morning, we entered the main house for breakfast, and there were 3 family dogs, which is always pleasant for dog lovers. This was until the eldest dog pooped in the common area, and we stepped in it. Now the entire common area had poop steps, on the wood, and in the carpets. The staff apologized many times and stated that the owners were away and the staff had to watch the family pets. Watch the family pets where they won't beg for food, and they won't poop on the floor. The staff was noticeably miffed and any wonderful memory by the guests was grossly tainted by irresponsible owners.

This is a great place to stay if you are heading to Red Rocks. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. They gave us a great recommendation to eat at The Hungry Goat. They provide breakfast in the morning as well. It was freshly prepared, a nice hearty way to start the day. The room was perfect and cozy. Nice relaxing in sitting areas and a very nice jacuzzi tub for two. Couldn’t have asked for more! Everything was perfect and peaceful.

We love this place!
We have enjoyed Cliff house Lodge over the years. We appreciate the friendly staff, the hearty home-cooked breakfast and proximity to Red Rocks. I always check to make sure we can get a room before i book tickets to Red Rocks. The town of Morisson is quite charming too.
