This is an amazing place! Opening the door and seeing the sea right there, the staff couldn’t be nicer, friendlier and Annie at the reception is an angel! Very interesting tour of the pearl farm, great food, fantastic massages, truly loved our stay. The only thing … I wished the bed was softer but everything else was just wonderful!

The staff and managers welcome at the shore of this beautiful island resort was only the beginning of our wonderful stay. You are treated as royalty it seems. Everything was impeccably clean and cared for here and the staff immediately act up on anything you may want or need to know. The variety of healthy food is wonderful and the servers wait out of the way focusing on you anticipating any need you might want or need. We plan on returning.

Loved the resort. It was like paradise. It’s a little far to get to, however fully worth it. The coral reef are beautiful just off the beach in front of the resort. There is a nice path around the island that take about 40min walk and if lucky see some monitor lizards of up to 1.5meters. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to accommodate you. The view from the lighthouse is spectacular.

Happy and relaxing getaway
I spent 4 nights here on my honeymoon and it was exceptional. I paid for a budget room that only had a view of the trees thinking we would spend most of our time outside which was mostly true. If I were to go back I would splurge and get a room with a hammock on the beach because it looked so relaxing. The food was great and plentiful and since we’re both vegetarians they went out of their way to make special dishes just for us. We always left full and happy. The island is just a stunning relaxing paradise. There a some water sports to do but just hanging out by the beach or the beachside bar was plenty enjoyment for us. The staff couldn’t be friendlier and go out of their way to make our stay enjoyable even during a typhoon and over Christmas when you know they were away from their families. As a gay coupled we felt very welcomed as well. I would highly recommend if you’re looking for somewhere secluded, private, and away from life.

6/10 Good

Extremely limited and unimaginative choices for buffet meals. Hot food always cold by the time it was brought out from the kitchen. Wifi unavailable in the evenings. No water or coffee/tea making facilities in the room and the expectation was that you buy water outside of meal times. Dinner started late, at 7.30pm or later. While breakfast theoretically started at 7am, it was rarely available until 7.45am or later. Staff were very slow to clear away rubbish from tables in the bar area, sometimes leaving it overnight. The killer for us was the exorbitant $US150 return boat fee from Tay Tay, on the mainland. At night, lights along the path to the huts were broken, making it unsafe to walk. While the views from the beach were lovely, the customer service at this resort was very poor and we were pleased to leave, especially after sorting out the bill, where we were double-charged for massages.

Amazing place, swimming with turtles every day, snorkeling between coral reef and beautiful fishes like clown fish and great service. About food, was really delicious but there is not much variety...

An absolute paradise! One of the most unforgettable places I've ever visited. From the second you board the one hour boat, the beauty of the many island reveal themselves. The friendly staff greet you with a smile, respect and thoughtfulness. The excellent welcome and service continues throughout your stay. The food is delicious. The the white sand beach, the clear waters filled with millions of gorgeous creatures, the impressive lighthouse, the breathtaking views from the top of the island, the service... OUTSTANDING! Cherry on the top is the gold pearl farm exploration and the visit to the local preservation center. If you are looking for an opportunity to escape this world, to reconnect with yourself, your friends, your significant other, and your children... This is a Robinson Crusoe experience that's worth exploring.

4/10 Fair

Poor Food and transfers very expensive Be Aware
So you would think being on a tropical island with great facilities you would have great food eating fresh seafood and tropical fruits right? Wrong. Boring buffet every night and apart from non fresh mussels no fresh seafood. I mean there is an abundance of seafood out your front door! No mango or pineapple most days. Not vegetarian friendly. Transfers...you would expect getting transferred from the mainland to the only resort on its own island would be included...no apparently you are supposed to swim the 40min boat ride? Expect to pay up to 16000 pesos to get from el nido town to flower island and get quoted different price daily! Many services offered/advertised are 'unavailable'

Stunning experience supported by great staff
Loved staying at flower island. The staff was wonderful and accommodating. The food was very good - especially the picnic! Snorkeling was amazing and easy. One of our group saw an octupus. And learning about the conservation efforts and cultured gold pearls gave me hope for rehabilitating and preserving coral reefs. Highly recommend staying on this amazing island.

Tropical paradise
The hotel is in a tropical paradise island. Beach front rustic cottages with amaizing sea view. You get the feeling that you have an island for yourself. We stayed in the champagne (fan) cottages and they are good. However since they are rustic we were visited at night by couple of big lizards and something else (some sort of racoon) that ate some cookies and peanuts, so make sure you put any food inside your bags at night. However they are harmless animals and part of the tropical fauna, so relax... The island is a mountain with a light house at the top, 15 minutes walk up the hill and you have an amazing panoramic view of surrounding islands. Great coral reef right next to the beach where you an see colorful fish, rays, and if you are lucky like us, big tortules. Meals are served as buffet but with few choices, however very tasty and you will have enough to please your hunger. Free snorkeling and kajaks, and also a free trip to a pearl farm with stop a in a deserted beach, absolutely beautiful. They offer a private boat trip from Taytay, for 80 euros round trip per person, a bit expensive for what you normaly pay in Philippines, but convenient. Bar in front of the beach with delicious mango shakes. 1 hour massage for 15 euros, highly recommended. Very friendly staff. Will definately come back!

Great
Atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. A great escape from big busy beach hotels and from the chaos of the Philippines in general. Helpful, well-mannered, friendly staff. Interesting setting and easy access to diving from the beach. The beach and cabins face West making for great sunset views. Pearl Farm is interesting too. The cabin is basic, but comfortable. No hot water, but the water is not cold either. This is a beach experience with benefits, including diving, snorkeling, and hiking possibilities. The massage was a great added comfort. Will be returning!

Awesome stay
We were pleasantly surprised when we got off the boat by what we saw. This resort in the middle of other islands. Hardly anyone there. Staff was awesome. Sorry we did not book longer as we had other bookings. Be aware, this is as primitive as a hotel should be. No hot showers, very little electrical power, and some cottages with fans only. We loved it, except for the mosquitoes and a loud pesky gecko in our cottage. Otherwise, loved it.
