Beautiful convenient setting. Beach and downtown you can walk to. The carpet was dirty in the corners as well as the shower floor and window sills. Our particular cabin was nearest the neighboring trash trucks lot. The first morning we thought they were demoing our cabin, but we got use to the morning wakeup noise.

Overall the stay was good. Room could have been a little more clean, the refrigerator didn’t have a knob to adjust the temperature, the bathroom didn't have an exhaust fan and the jetted tub worked, but it definitely hadn't been used in awhile. But for someplace to sleep, it was worth the stay. Room was quite and comfortable

Our stay was terrible. The cabin was not anything at all like the photos. There were no towels, no toilet paper, the door and heater had large gaps open to the outside, there were ants in at last one bedroom, there seemed to be black mold in the bathroom. Be aware that poisen ivy is growing around the cabins and many are open underneath with trash (broken lightbulbs). Maintenance was great in coming to fix our broken light bulb, non functioning heater (it was in the 40s over night) and clogged toilet.

Unexpected delays.

It was an adventure getting to cabin of Mackinac city to say the least. Traveling on a motorcycle 6.5 hrs away from home, never know what’s going to happen. Like; the bike breaking down 3 hrs away from cabins in the middle of nowhere, to being 10 MINUTES AWAY from the cabins, only to be rained on. I mean dumped on!!! The lake basically DUMPED the whole lake on us. Being on a motorcycle, on a highway… not the best idea. We had a few delays. The staff were extremely understanding and willing to help in anyway that they could! The price is totally worth the package deals. My husband and I came on a solo trip! But will definitely be back to visit with the kiddo’s the waterpark, pool & hot tub that’s included is an extra bonus!
