There’s no denying the property is pretty cool. But in my opinion that doesn’t overcome their shortcomings. Our first room wouldn’t cool down. ACs break, and I wouldn’t ding someone for just that. But the maintenance guy tried to pull the “it’s hot outside so it’s actually working” song and dance. But I’ve lived in southeast Texas for 44 years, and I know what a working AC can do. When they agreed to move us to the room next door, the temperature magically dropped 7 degrees. Parking is an issue. It seems like people using other areas in the Domain use their parking, so we had to end up parking at the opposite side of the property from our room. They need to enforce their parking policy and towing to make sure that paying guests have enough space to park. Finally, some guests take advantage of the courtyard to overindulge in alcohol and get loud and stupid. It was loud outside our room until well past our normal bedtime, making it difficult to fall asleep.
