Loved it!
We loved our stay here! The room is very spacious and has a large balcony where we enjoyed our breakfast each morning. The room also has closet space with hangers, a mini fridge, and a hair dryer. The free breakfast has lots of great options including any type of coffee you'd like! If you are not very mobile, this is not the hotel for you (and possibly not the city for you). Getting to the center of the town requires you to go up/down a very steep hill, and depending on what floor you're on there are a decent amount of steps to your room. Google Maps will take you a longer way to get to the hotel, read your email the day before your stay because they emailed out directions for an easier route. The concierge was very helpful with a lot of recommendations for us.

Fantastic place! Location was perfect and walkable to everything including train, and ferry! Enrico was amazing and gave us a lot of useful information. Parking was easy and spacious. The rooms were clean and spacious as well, with lovely fluffy towels. Wifi was available although a little weak. The breakfast was delicious and light!

8/10 Very good

We had a great stay at Hotel del Sole. Our room was clean, the owner/manager always checked on us during our stay, he was friendly and helpful giving directions or advice. The birds were delightful to hear in the morning. Our patio was clean and had views of fruit trees. Breakfast was good with coffee, juice, yogurt, fruits, pastry, meats and cheese. The location is up the hill, very safe and quiet. I recommend that you get your luggage transported if you have anything other than a backpack because it is a STEEP uphill and transport is not expensive. No sense in beginning your trip frustrated. We liked being away from the marina as it did get loud. We also loved Riomaggiore the most because of it’s secluded quaint feel. The tile floor in our room had wear but this happens in coastal properties. We would recommend this place for one or two nights.

We had a great stay at Hotel Del Sole. We were able to safely park our car right at the hotel before setting out to explore the area. Enrico was super friendly and provided helpful tips about Riomaggiore and how to get around Cinque Terre. The breakfast was excellent. We will stay here again when we return to Cinque Terre.

A little difficult to get to with a hurt back and an injured leg. But that's just an inherent characteristic of the area. Owner was very attentive and helpful.
