We stayed here in early March for the tail end of the ski season and had an enjoyable time.
The rooms, while small, were comfortable and cozy. The website describes the bathrooms as partially open, which in our room meant that the toilet and a sink were in a separate room, while the shower opened directly off the bedroom with a sink beside it. This is fine for a romantic getaway (as ours was) but something you may want to consider if you're planning to share a room with someone who is not your significant other.
Our rate included breakfast, which was ample and tasty. We had supper in the hotel restaurant once, which was good, though there are so many restaurant options in Saas Fee I'd recommend getting out into the village and trying a few of them, rather than eating at the hotel repeatedly.
The staff were generally helpful whenever we had a question or request.
A few things to note for your stay, if you're here to ski:
- the hotel wasn't able to assist with pre-purchasing lift tickets, so we had to go to one of the ticket windows in the village and wait in line for about an hour to get our passes.
-the transfer to the hotel took us quite a while. From Geneva, it took us a little over 3 hours to get there.
-you can rent skis / boots at Cesar Sport. There are at least 3 in the village, so go to the one right beside the Alpin Express lift (hotel staff can show you on the map) and ask them to store your skis / boots there.
