The hotel bldg is a bit dated. You can hear the people chatting in the street until early morning. Footsteps from the upper floors are annoying specially past midnight. The good thing about this hotel is must the location.

This property is excellent and affordable. It’s in a great location convenient to the train station and old town. There is an awesome local bar downstairs called Franky and also close for an easy quick bite there is a pizza restaurant The room was very clean and great Swiss design. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Very happy with our stay!

Dated hotel and rooms need TLC, but great value for price and location. Check in is at a nearby hotel, but very friendly staff. Very close to Lucerne Station. Only concern is there are bars down below and people hung out on the street and got so loud until 2AM on the weekdays and 4AM on a Saturday we were there, hence there was earplugs provided in the room.

Check in at 16.00 ! Ridiculous as of Train Station hotel.!! but very nice front staff they try to let in 1530 ))) by the way Hotel Front desk at Monopol hotel of the bext door .. Rooms are very cold after 1900 hrs. .

City hotel, i expect the drunks, the inconsiderate drivers revving engines and the refuse trucks, but…In a quiet side road, unfortunately taxi drivers and food delivery bikes park outside for their next job and loudly talk across the road to each other. Fixed using earplugs. But what cannot be fixed is the club/pub on ground floor, noisy barstools constantly scraping across a hard floor, then at 3:30am the place is cleared, cleaned and tidied for 30 minutes and impossible to sleep.

The locations is great. However, the people around the Hotel not so much. Too many people smoking, is like being in the 70's
