I normally don’t write many reviews, and when I do, they’re usually positive with great compliments. I debated whether to write this one, but after our experience, I feel future travelers deserve to know what to expect—especially when paying $500/nt for what should be a luxury stay but turned into a nightmare. From day one, we had hot water issues. The hot water ran out quickly, requiring us to wait 30–60 minutes between showers. The second bathroom has a tub but no shower curtain, so water splashed everywhere & created a safety concern when there’s no mop to dry the floor. For four days, we either took cold showers or waited for the water to heat up. Supplies were also inadequate. For four people staying 4 nts, there were only 4 bottles of shampoo and no body wash. Thankfully, we brought our own soap. Communication with the management was very frustrating. Responses could take a day, and instead of addressing our concerns, we were often blamed. Most hurtful was what the agency said about my mom’s passing. After 10 years of battling my parents’ cancers, my family planned a trip together. Sadly, my mother passed away during the planning process. I requested cancellation within 24 hours of booking. I understand if policy prevented a refund, but being accused of lying and using my mother’s death as a “lame excuse” was deeply hurtful and unacceptable. In 30+ years of traveling, I have never experienced such a lack of empathy, disrespectful and customer service! Not recommending!!
