Showed up at the property today to check in and it’s been closed for a month for renovations. Property manager said they informed Expedia and no one let us know. We had 3 rooms between our group and no one got any notification. Had to find a new place to stay and considerable extra cost.

The place is at a great location, just steps away from the beach, restaurants, shops. Unfortunately the place and room was rundown nothing like the pictures. The room was not clean properly, the area for the second bed the ceiling was falling and debri was falling on top of the bed. Got there the toilet was not working, but the person was very prompt to answer and fix it.

What I liked: close to the beach, nice bikes available, clean, Marcelo trying to help as much as possible; but... the loud air conditioning unit could be heard and felt in the room (nr. 205), especially at night, made sleeping difficult. Also, the safe attached to headboard made banging sound every time bed moved, annoying! Otherwise very nice. Thank you
