Great room, spacious, clean and beautiful balconies. A small kitchenette that was functional. The staff was extremely helpful performing a repair deom a prior guest without disturbing us and holding bags when we stopped in another part of Turkey for 3 days. It was close to everything as well

First, something positive: The apartment is very conveniently located; public transportation is easily and quickly accessible. As is often the case in Istanbul, however, you have to navigate some significant elevation changes to get there. The apartment didn’t match what the listing promised: it was dingy; the kitchen, in particular, hadn’t been cleaned (there were still dirty sponges lying around, and the wood of the kitchen cabinets remained sticky until our departure, even though we tried to clean it ourselves). There was no table inside the apartment—only one on the balcony, which, as the owner told us, had to be brought inside whenever we needed it in the apartment. The furnishings were also a hodgepodge, and some of the furniture gave the impression that it came straight from a “third-hand store,” not to mention from the curb (for example, the doors of the cabinet that enclosed the refrigerator and led to the trash compartment under the sink wouldn’t close, and the nightstand had quite a few flaws, etc.). Communication was also terrible: The apartment wasn’t cleaned without prior notice, and if it was cleaned on one day, the next day you’d be put on “hold”—meaning it wouldn’t be cleaned if too many guests were arriving or departing. Only after filing a complaint was it possible to finally get a cleaning scheduled. All in all, a pretty disappointing booking.

Oh man, this is a tough review. We have 5 people in my party including grandma who is on a wheelchair. This place is close to the top of a hill, built on a slope. I got a room for 5 people. It ended up having 1 twin futon, which they expected to fit 2 people (no). A full sized bed (OK for two people) and a single bed. The room was split into 2 levels with a narrow spiral staircase to the lower level. The floor downstairs was sopping wet, we found out the ceiling was leaking. The host, to her credit, ended up giving us 2 alternative rooms, each with a queen bed and a large couch to sleep on and that ended up accommodating us much better for sleep. The rooms also had AC units which were a godsend during the summer heat. The rooms smelled badly of smoking, but were otherwise nice. At this point I was going to give this place 5 stars based on the great customer service. I had also purchased van transfer to the airport the next morning at 10am, paid in cash. This is where it falls apart. We had a flight at 2pm. I had incorporated 1 hour for travel time (it's around 30-40 min away) plus the 3 hours for international travel. It was an HOUR late. I can't express how stressful this hour wait was, not knowing if we would make our flight (we barely did)! And we had to go down 2 sloped streets (with wheelchair) to get to him! It was ridiculous. Never again. I'm giving 3 stars because the hosts were amazing and did their best. Otherwise it would have been 1 star.

La localisation est excellente. Dans une zone centrale mais loin du bruit. Ce qui a vraiment fait la différence c'est Svetlana qui est la personne avec qui nous avons interagit durant notre séjour. Elle nous a aidé á chauqe instant et nous a trouvé le taxi pour repartir, et nous a proposé une belle journée aux îles des Princes. Les 5 étoiles sont donc vraiment pour Svetlana. Notons que l'hotel est simple et petit et qu'il faut rendre sont petit déjeuner à l'extérieur (si c'est important pour vous).

Super séjour dans une très jolie suite avec beaucoup de cachet local. Lits très confortables, patio agréable pour le petit déjeuner, on n'entend pas du tout les bruits de la ville. Hôtes très à l'écoute, serviables et de bon conseil. Hôtel très bien situé pour explorer la ville à pied, tram ou bateau. On y retournera volontiers !
