Hacienda Chichen is one of our very favourite resorts anywhere in the world! On this most recent visit, our destination was the hacienda and we didn't even bother to tour Chichen Itza. We just love hanging out at the stunningly beautiful pool set amongst the historic cottages and meticulously landscaped gardens of this jungle oasis. Such an idyllic, peaceful spot! The terrace of the restaurant overlooks the grounds and is a wonderful spot to have a leisurely breakfast or enjoy dinner as the sun goes down.
