We stayed at the Danna for two nights. Overall we had a pleasant stay, we particularly liked the spacious room and the incredible view as well as the pool area and kids club. Unfortunately the restaurant’s lunch service was a constant let down with 45min long waiting times. For dinner we only tried the buffet restaurant as we could not afford to wait again to be served with two young children but overall the food was tasty. We are also grateful to Chef for his efforts to rectify the situation when provided with feedback. Overall, we found dining options especially at lunch limited and quite pricey.

Our stay at The Danna was a short 4 day leg of our honeymoon. My only regret is we did not stay longer. We chose it for the quiet location, room and private beach. The facilities are top notch and the service is exemplary. Our room (Viceroy Sea View) was well equipped with all modern amenities, a fairly deep and large bathtub and a great view of the Andaman sea. The resort offers a host of water activities at a reasonable price. The spa similarly has a variety of treatments at fair prices. The gym next to the sauna is adequately equipped for some holiday based cardio and resistance training. There are a few restaurants onsite which offer great food but can be quite dear. It’s easy enough to get a Grab to Pantai Cenang for more varied and affordable options. I cannot highlight the service enough which is first class and is what makes Danna a true 5* hotel.

We had such a wonderful stay here! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the hotel itself is a beautiful building and well cared for and our room was huge!! The dining options were great - something for every taste, and we really loved the option to be able to have anything for room service. The bar was also really lovely and had an excellent happy hour. The Danna is a beautiful resort and not to far out of the main town for some night life. It was extremely quiet- which was nice but also we like have a few people around ( it was just the this me of year) we stayed I in a beach Villa and the layout and comfort one of the best we have stayed in. Well designed best bed! Great bathroom and the pool Area amazing !!! Staff so accommodating and the food we fresh and we loved it . We did the cooking class also which was great to learn how to make the classic chicken curry ! Highly recommend This hotel

The hotel is has a slightly colonial feel to it. Conveniently sited for the airport which is a 15-20 minute drive. The hotel overlooks a stunning bay and beach and is very private. The food was all very good in all the restaurants and the staff were efficient and friendly. The pool is large and there were generally enough sunbeds although the last few days of our stay over Easter the hotel was noticeably busier and getting a sunbed was a bit of a challenge. The bedroom was spacious and well maintained and a small problem with the shower was quickly resolved.
