Poor Customer Service
The sleeping areas were clean. Exactly what you should expect for the price. Some public spaces were not clean and some male staff members did not care much about their personal hygiene. At some point during my stay the air system in my room started to blast cold air---in February, 30 degrees outside. I brought the issue up to the front desk and their answer was: "we can give you another blanket."

First time solo hostel stay
First time using a hostel. I was very bumbling, but walking there from Union Station was easy; as an afab person, the surroundings did not feel dangerous. The room was comfortable, simple, easy, with a shower and toilet in easy access and some nice things thrown in (a hair dryer, for one.) The free breakfast was simple, but the coffee was nice and overall it was filling, with a nice view of the towering buildings while you eat. Overall the atmosphere was very safe and comfortable, I never once felt ill at ease, and as an introvert, I am happy that nobody sought out conversation. For anybody looking for a cheap-er place to stay overnight, this place is warm, clean, and very easy to be in and out of. Honestly had a better experience here than some hotels I've stayed at.
