Maison d'Ail
"Amazing beautiful villa just outside the town centre. Breakfast was superb, Janet's omelette's are to die for. Amenities and everything was just fab."
Chapter House Boutique Hotel
"This hotel was absolutely stunning it was boutique small it sits right next to this beautiful church on Sunday morning I could hear the bells chiming I just loved it. My room was amazing. I had a big king size bed and a private little swimming pool in the back with a patio that was just wonderful. More than anything was the staff… Nelson the manager was just lovely and everyone of those girls from housekeeping to the staff making our breakfast every morning that was outstanding! I can’t wait to come back with my husband and I will absolutely stay here ❤️"
Boschendal Farm Estate
"Overall greatness!"
Mont Rochelle Hotel & Vineyard
"Beautiful estate and outstanding hospitality. The room was clean and cosy, had a neat little balcony for you to sit outside in the evening. Breakfast was always hearty and generous in portions. There was also a tennis court onsite which we didn’t know about, so that was a good surprise. The estate is on the wine tram line so it’s really easy if u just wanna hop on and off to other places with no trouble. Overall 10/10 Wished we had longer stay!"
Protea Hotel by Marriott Franschhoek
"Lovely hotel in a good position in the lovely town of Franschhoek. I was informed in advance that the kitchen was closed due to renovation so was given vouchers to a local cafe for breakfast which was very good. Sadly the bar area was also closed. Hotel has a large gated car park free of charge and is a very well maintained looking hotel."
Le Quartier Francais
"Service, restaurants are outstanding, food is unique and 5 star. A fun evening"
Residence Vive La Vie
"Great location, a few minutes walk from town. Beautifully decorated and helpful staff who made sure we had breakfast items in our room bc we had to leave at 5:55am. The sit down breakfast was huge with a starter of meats, cheeses, croissants that my wife said were like being in France, ‘to die for’ then eggs Benedict or any style you like. Comfortable beds with heated blanket."
Leeu Estates
"All I can say is wow! We stayed one night in the hotel and it was epic, every attention to detail you could imagine. The staff fell over themselves to be helpful, food was incredible and breakfast in the morning was another level. I wish we had booked for longer but we will be back "
Le Franschhoek Hotel and Spa by Dream Resorts
"We had an awesome stay but the heavy rains caused us to evacuate our villa as we got flooded, hotel staff was super awesome and we got upgraded to a hotel room."

The Smart Shopping tool, available via the app, allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, helping you make informed choices. You could find yourself first in line for any price drops or newly available rooms, making it easier to secure your perfect getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate due to factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates could help you save on your stay in a Franschhoek hotel. For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised touch and, at times, better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher side, we’ll suggest alternative dates that may be more affordable, helping you to secure a better deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre usually tend to be pricier, but thanks to Franschhoek's outstanding public transport connections, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well linked. For those wishing to explore alternative, quieter neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
