"We had an amazing time at this wonderful resort! Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Room was spacious, clean and in top condition. The pool areas were lovely and water temperature in pools was perfect, cool but not too cold. It was difficult some days to get a free sun lounger, however they had several Bali beds for €19 which included 2 waters and 2 other soft drinks so we thought was reasonable. There are several restaurants on site, we loved Galazio restaurant . I can honestly say their steaks were amongst the best we ever had. The location is perfect, quiet surroundings with a 5 minute walk to the Strip, where there were several bars, shops and restaurants. This hotel is excellent for families with young or older children/teenagers, young adults and couples also . We will definitely go again and recommend it highly!"

"The one bed suite was very spacious and comfortable. Plenty of sun loungers and tables outside including own chairs directly outside room. Really friendly and welcoming staff. Short walk via hill into town. Ideal place for exploring hiking trails and Platanias. No shop or restaurant on site but plenty in local area so not an issue. Pool a decent size and well maintained. Great view."

"Booked 1 room with another family with 9 of us at the property. We had also rented cars and drove to the hotel. Great access for free parking. The room was split over 2 levels that the boys enjoyed. The room was very clean. The breakfast selection was significant to choose from and the Italian restaurant was really great. The hotel gave direct access to the beach and great spot for sunset pictures!"

"Caldera Crete paradise was absolutely fabulous, very clean and staff were helpful and very friendly,the food was very good every evening was a different theme and so much to choose from every day. "We had a lovely, relaxing stay at the Galini Palace Resort Hotel. The overall atmosphere was calm and peaceful throughout, as the hotel is located in a quiet area away from the main tourist crowds. The Highlights: The absolute star of the hotel is the pool area - it is large, beautiful, crystal clear, and offers great view of the sea. The staff were also extremely friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The food variety in the dining room was impressive, and while not every dish was to our personal taste, we always found plenty to enjoy. Areas for Improvement: There were a few minor issues that kept this from being a true 5-star experience: Pool Hours: The pool hours are quite limited (10:30 AM – 6:30 PM). We felt it would be much better if it opened earlier and stayed open later in the evening, especially during the long summer days. Room Amenities: For a 5-star hotel, we expected more luxury touches. For example there were no bathrobes, and it was disappointing to be charged an extra daily fee to use the room safe. Maintenance & Cleanliness: The showerhead in our room was completely clogged. Also, there was a strange, strong smell of cleaning products in the hallway outside our room, which wasn't very pleasant. Overall, a very enjoyable stay in a beautiful setting. With a little more attention to the small details and operating hours, it would be perfect."

"absolutely brilliant. In a big hot spot area of Platanias with a bust beach and restaurant area. Don’t listen to any of the negative reviews. The place was spotless, ability to stream your netflix and youtube. Great deck, giant bathroom and the breakfast was incredible and delicious!! If they had a pool area near jacuzzi it would be absolutely top notch! What a great gem to stumble upon! Staff exceptionally friendly and they actually knew they were a VIP access hotel. Most don’t or don’t care! Thank you! Keep it up!"
