Perfect hotel for a peaceful, scenic stay
We stayed late October and we enjoyed our time here. The hotel’s location is in a quiet spot but it’s perfect for those looking for a relaxing holiday, and there were just enough shops and restaurants nearby. The Chania old town was an hour walk away, but we walked there on 3 separate occasions as it’s a lovely walk route. The hotel’s staff are very warm and friendly and the Corinna Star restaurant made amazing food that we could not fault. The only fault for the hotel we can think of is the sofa not being comfortable in the living area of our room, as well as no toaster in our kitchenette which would have been handy for us. Other than that, the hotel was spotless and you can really see that the staff take pride in it’s presentation and service. We got lucky with the weather too which is an added bonus for the hotel’s sea view. We can only imagine how amazing it would be in the peak of summer. We fell in love with the local cats that lounged around the outdoor area too. Overall would definitely recommend this hotel.

From the minute we arrived we were welcomed with warmth and kindness. The room was comfortable and spacious and even though it was booked as a street view there was a second balcony with beautiful view of the sea. The staff are very professional and capture the wonderful Greek hospitality, nothing is too much trouble. The restaurant is excellent. Breakfast buffet has great variety and of course the fresh juicer is a bonus. We had a couple of evening meals during our stay. Very good quality and price and again friendly and attentive service. The gardens are beautiful, the two pools fantastic. Lovely little rocky beach as well. I will recommend the Corinna Mare to friends and family without hesitation. Thanks so much for a lovely restful holiday.

Staff were very helpful in suggesting things to do around Chania for the day! During our time there, our ferry that was bringing us to the island was delayed when led in us arriving late to our check in time. When I called the property informing them of my late arrival, they were very assuring that there would be no trouble and they were true to their word. The breakfast buffet was awesome! The 2 swimming pools and the beach that the property sits on are nice enough for one to spend the day relaxing at the property. It’s only just a 10 minute drive to the Chania town center from the hotel. Getting a parking spot in the actual parking lot of the property depends on how good your luck is for the day. However, parking on the streets that run in front of the property is no hassle at all. There is a pharmacy just a 5 minute walk from the property. A lot of great places to eat within walking distance. Taking a morning walk along the bridge that oversees the water is always nice. Can’t say enough good things about this property. Would definitely stay here again.
