"Excellent communication with host. Kitchen well equipped. Washer/dryer was great. Comfy bed, quiet air con. Location ideal. Only thing missing was chairs and table for balcony. NH Collection Torino Piazza Carlina

NH Collection Torino Piazza Carlina

10/10 Excellent
"The NH Hotel Piazza Carlina is a tastefully modernised Italian building that occupies a prominent position on one of the central piazzas in Turin. Access to the hotel is very straightforward, with drop off parking available. Throughout our stay the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and did everything possible to make the stay enjoyable. The underground parking is excellent. The rooms are spacious and equipped to the highest level; room layouts do vary, with some thought put into each configuration. The dinner menu was very modern, with the braised cheek a highlight. The overall highlight was the breakfast, which would exceed most people's expectations in quality and sheer extent. Yes - a wonderful stay! Certainly would not hesitate to return."

Le Petit Hotel

Le Petit Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Charming, friendly and, ironically quite large but very well located hotel, close to the centre and easy access to all the sites, trams and Porta Susa for trains to/from the airport. The room was well maintained, clean and had a sizeable and well equipped bathroom. Water was hot, the bed was comfortable and it was very quiet, despite being on the first floor and having the windows open the whole time. The breakfast was decent, though not spectacular. I was a little disappointed with the coffee from the machine, expected better in the birthplace of espresso but drinkable. The foods were much as expected, though apple strudel was a nice surprise and the bomboloni con crema, likewise. A little limited in choice, but no complaints, a reasonable spread, enjoyed each morning. It is worth noting that the economy room DID NOT have air conditioning. It was a little warm in August but with the windows open, the shutters closed and the fan on, it was acceptable. A very well-priced hotel with everything I needed, would definitely stay again, but would probably get an air conditioned room . . ."
