The hotel was absolutely stunning - one of the nicest I’ve ever stayed in. The adult pool area was beautiful, with some sun beds situated in the water and parasols that you could connect your phone to to play music. We did have to complain to remove some children on one occasion, but the signs are only written in English, and with a lot of guests from Eastern Europe, this message may not have got through. The rooms were great and balconies nice, although obviously we didn’t spend a great deal of time in there.
The gym was also very good, as this can often be a sticking point for hotels. Although the free weight section could have been better (heavier), it did the job for a holiday workout.
Unfortunately, we did have some issues with incorrect information given regarding bus times to Kotor and the staff weren’t always particularly helpful when we had queries at reception. We were also out on a trip one day so popped into the breakfast area at 0655 (it opened at 0700) and weren’t promptly told by a member of staff that we shouldn’t be there.
We also weren’t always offered drinks at the pool and had to seek out staff to place an order. Several times we were kept waiting 15-20 minutes for a glass of wine to arrive too. I’m sure these issues will be ironed out once the hotel has been up and running for a couple more years. The drinks measures at the hotel’s beach bar were also pathetic, so we only went there once. Private beach was very nice though.
