We will definitely stay here again when we come back! The 2 sisters who run it are the best! They gave us recommendations in the area, had a beautiful breakfast with fresh bread from the market and fresh juice, and even let us use their microwave for our leftovers! Thank you for everything!!

We had excellent service at Arnold’s Guest House. The room rate included a continental breakfast and there was bottled water available. The proprietor even offered laundry service! We highly recommend the Ajaw Chocolate store’s experience and the Cahal Pech Mayan ruins, both of which are in walking distance.

Wow! Top notch customer service, spotless rooms that had the ac cranked down when you walk in. Hand towels folded like roses (she learned to do online). Many destinations easily walkable. Then there's the view from the rooftop patio..this place is a gem. We cannot wait to return!

Very central San Ignacio guest house that was great for a family of 4 with a spacious room. The staff were very friendly and helped us to arrange private transport back to Belize City with a stop at the zoo

Pleasant time and awesome staff
We loved the location of the hotel (walkable to many things), but the AC could not keep up with the heat. There was a loud, barkong dog right outside our window (not this hotels failt bit something to consider)

The owner Liza Arnold and her worker Celeni were very pleasant and helpful. I enjoyed my stay. I only wish the water in shower stayed hot a little longer before turning cool.

This is a great location, it’s very close to restaurants and we were able to hike to a nearby ruins. The property owners very helpful and accommodating with transportation, excursions and info on the area. Something light is provided in the morning for breakfast which was nice.

Property is older, but very well taken care of. Stuff was really nice, they gave you pointers on what to see and where to eat. It is located in the center of town so you have many options to eat. Coffee and toast were a nice gesture in the morning. If you are looking for clean, convenient and cheaper place, I would recommend to stay here.

Outdated but clean
The pictures make the room look a bit nicer than it is in real life. Service is very great, and the rooms are clean, but the building is quite outdated. There is a great view of the town from the roof though!

Great experience! CLEAN, affordable, comfortable (AC worked great), convenient (location was perfect for walking to restaurants/Happy Hour and the tours picked me up right at the door!) Most of all I cannot say enough good things about the staff. They were so friendly and helpful!!!!!!! Would definitely go back!

Simple studio-type hotel in the heart of San Ignancio. There were no frills but that is exactly what we were looking for as we did not plan to spend much time in the room. But at the same time, they serve coffee, fruit and toast every morning and have extra little things you might need (beach towels to take on a tour, etc.) The ladies working at the hotel were so friendly and very helpful when one of our tours got goofed up! We would definitely not hesitate in recommending Arnold's Guest House to anyone looking for a place in San Ignacio.

We loved Arnold's Guest House. It is walking distance from the bus station, down town, and multiple restaurants. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with hot showers, and cool AC. They offer coffee, toast, and fresh fruit in the morning. Annie the manager is absolutely amazing! She booked an ATM tour for us on super short notice and helped us get to the Guatemalan border for the best price. If you are looking for a comfortable place to stay in San Ignacio I highly recommend Arnold's. We hope to come back sometime soon. Thank you Annie!!

Very limited parking, the room was sparsely furnished, no table or comfortable chairs, the property is very old and dated and run down. But for the price it was hard to beat. Everything was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. This is a developing country, and we didn't expect five star accommodation.

The building is old, with basic amenities however the location is good for walking around the town and getting to the restaurants. Most tours picked up at the guest house as well, this is convenient. It is a good idea to check with the guest house before booking any tours, in case they can get a lower price. The staff were super friendly and this made a big difference on the stay.

Conveniently located just up the hill from the Saturday market, bus station, visitor centre, local travel agencies and great restaurants. Reasonably priced so you can spend your money on great food instead. Simple but good breakfast of coffe, tea, fresh local fruit, toast, PB and J. Lovely balconies overlooking the town of San Ignacio. Just up the hill is an excellent educational centre based on the production of chocolate and further up is the Mayan ruin of Cahal Pech, very well exhibited, clean and if you arrive before 9 am you will have all to yourself before the tours arrive. The guest house has a small restaurant which serves surprisingly good local fare. The staff are helpful , can arrange tours and are very friendly. We stayed 4 nights in an air conditioned room. With good beds and a good shower with new towels when requested. Not fancy but a good place to rest after a day’s exploring. Thank you Annie and family!
