Très agréable séjour
Un séjour très agréable, un accueil chaleureux, nous avons beaucoup apprécié une petite pause dans la piscine avant un dîner gastronomique délicieux en terrasse. Et le petit déjeuner copieux et au frais dans le jardin était excellent et avec beaucoup de choix. Un grand merci !

Ein sehr wertig und geschmackvoll restauriertes inhabergeführtes Haus. An der Rezeption hängen handgeschriebene Hinweise, erinnert an Jugendherberge. Bei der Begrüßung werden wir gleich hingewiesen, dass wir unsere Masken abzunehmen hätten. Vielleicht haben wir den harschen Ton auch missgedeutet - aber von den 4 angebotenen Sprachen, die es in der Expedia Beschreibung gibt, bleibt nur eine : französisch Wir erreichten unser Ziel bei über 30 Grad nach 19.15 und freuten uns auf das angepriesene Essen aus der Region.. Da wir kein französisch sprechen, wurden wir mit Schriftzeichen drauf hingewiesen, dass wir sofort zum Essen müssten, es gäbe nur eine Slot von einer Stunde, da anschließend eine Gruppe käme. Wir besannen uns, welche Vorräte wir noch in unserer Kühltasche hatten und verzichteten auf das hektische Essen, wollten wir doch lieber das herrliche Schwimmbecken nutzen. Nachdem wir uns eingerichtet hatten , standen wir dann um 19.45 am herrlichen Schwimmbad - das war jedoch ab 19.30 geschlossen. Als wir enttäuscht zu unserem Zimmer zurückkehrten, sah uns die Inhaberin , sie muss unsere enttäuschen Gesichter gesehen haben, aber es gab keine Ausnahme. Wie gerne hätten wir uns gewünscht, dass sie als Chefin sagt: " los, gehen Sie schnell und schwimmen eine Runde zur Abkühlung", aber nein, es gab keine Empathie, wir könnten ja am Folgetag schwimmen gehen. Frühstückszeit dann 7.45 Uhr bis 9.15 Uhr, war uns egal, wir waren ja auf der Durchreise ( kostete 12 Euro- war ok)

If you are not French, stay someplace else.
We ate at the hotel. The dining room was empty but the owner insisted we sit next to a French Couple who he conversed loudly with through out our meal, making our experience miserable, Food was mediocre.

Très très agréable
Grande chambre très confortable avec un grand lit et une très belle vue. La piscine est grande et bien exposée. Nous avons dîné au restaurant qui propose des mets originaux composés avec des produits locaux mais avec une touche d’originalité. Délicieux. C’est notre troisième passage à l’auberge de Cartassac qui constitue une belle étape non loin de l’A20 dans notre retour vers ou depuis les Pyrénées. Mais nous envisageons une prochaine fois d’y rester plus longtemps afin de découvrir la région qui recèle de nombreux trésors touristiques

Room with a view
Three nights at unbeatable price. Lovely room with view on excellent swimming pool. Two perfect hammocks under a tree.Very good service with impeccable respect for COVID rules.. Dinner lacked choice. Breakfast ordinary. No elevator, but the manager carried two heavy suitcases upstairs. Beautiful towns to visit if you drive 20-30 minutes.

Très beau établissement, avec beaucoup de potentiel mais le reste ne suis pas... Nous sont une famille de 4 avec 2 chiens. Les propriétaires n'accordent pas forcément les violons. Nous demandons à Monsieur si nous pouvons manger au restaurant avec les chiens, il nous confirme que oui et arrivé au resto madame nous affiche devant les clients en nous disant que ce n'est pas possible que cela va gêner les clients et qu'ils faut les laisser dans la chambre et espère que les chiens ne feront pas dégâts dans la chambre... faudrait savoir si l'établissement accepte ou pas les chiens... Au moment de passer commande, madame nous propose un repas avec plusieurs choix, sans prix à l'appuie sur les repas et les apéros. Nous obtenons la carte de vin et faisons notre choix. Arrivais à la note : le prix des nuits des chiens étaient plus élevé que prévu. Le vin de même. Le prix des menus était au petit bonheur la chance étant donné que les menus et tous au même prix et que nous avons prix 3 menus (plat + dessert) et 1 menu (entrée + plat + dessert). Nous avons vérifier les prix des menus annoncés sur le site web, rien ne correspondais. Nous avons choisi cette établissement car il était agréable à l'oeil et moins cher qu'un concurrent à la fin il nous est arrivais plus cher. En conclusion, Madame n'est pas forcément agréable. Monsieur est plutôt avenant et sympa et la cuisinière est compétente. Ni fait ni à faire.

Encourager les nouveaux gérants
Les nouveaux gérants viennent d' ouvrir l' établissement après travaux et rénovation. tout beau tout bon. Quelques finitions et ajustements et cet établissement dans une bâtisse locale aux charmes évidents en fin un établissement à ne pas manquer pour les voyageurs dans la région. une cuisine du terroir toute préparée sur place est également un plus non négligeable. A l' écoute permanente du client mais avec discrétion donne à cette auberge une ambiance chaude et chaleureuse. Resté trois jours je garde un excellent souvenir.
