Really nice and clean rooms, conveniently located, you can walk both to the main sights and to the train station. The breakfast was great and the staff was really nice. You even have buy a last-minute souvenir at the hotel, they have a small selection of little deer figurines etc. Really a great choice to stay in Nara.

Most excellent hotel and great shower/bath
Incredible gem of a hotel. I travel 5-6 weeks per year in Japan and stay in a variety of hotels/ryokans, from capsule to Ritz Carlton. Of any stays, aside ryokans with private onsen, this was the best shower/bath I have experienced on all my travels to date. Long, deep bath tub and rain shower (should be ok if you are less than 185 cm tall). Room is not large but l very well laid out and did not feel small. Breakfast is not a buffet , but a set meal of choice between Japanese or western. It was well balanced and tasted great. The staff was very friendly and professional. Location is excellent: 1 min from train station and easy walking station e to Nara park and todaiji. For the cost, this is the best quality to cost ratio I have experienced.

Comfortable hotel but far from tourist sights
Modern, clean and comfortable hotel. But on a busy road and at least a 15 minute walk to the nearest tourist sight. In the September heat, this was an inconvenience. Staff were not very present in the reception room. But we appreciated the ice dispenser and laundry available for guests to use.

I would stay here again. The rooms are clean and well-appointed, not to mention the bathroom is a luxury bathroom with soaking tub and rainfall shower, which is unheard of in typical tight bathrooms in Japan. All the staff I spoke with knew adequate English and were more than willing to help with whatever I needed. The housekeeping system is also well thought out. They will not disturb you if you do not request cleaning but will replenish your towels, coffee, tea, and free bottles of water daily. The location is outstanding. Kintetsu Nara station a few doors down, 7-11 and Lawsons convenience stores also a few doors down. You also get a head start toward the main attraction, Todaiji Temple, ahead of others staying on the west side near JR Nara. Fantastic value and fond experience! A real hidden gem!

年始の休みの最終日ということで割安な料金でしたので、ジュニアスイートの部屋に宿泊しました。部屋が広くてバルコニーもあり、浴室も清潔で広くてゆっくり入浴を楽しめました。その日はエレベーターが故障しており階段での移動はちょっと大変でしたが、不運ということで仕方ないですね。
