Location is perfect as it is close to the Atocha train station. Seina Sofia and Prado museums as well as the Retiro park. Some people may prefer to live close to the very busy area (gran via). The place is very well maintained. I would like to stay here again if I ever visit Madrid again. Breakfast is really good, not super fancy but offer many options and good quality. It is great to have a big breakfast before starting walking for almost a whole day.

Basement has tables, kettle and microwave, (breakfast at attached bistro for 9 euros;) Tuesday night was an open mic type event with 6 musician s and bar. Towels for rent. Definitely a return place.
