It provides shuttle service to the main road where the BTS Nana station is located. Quiet and comfortable bed. Have bars and restaurants at the main road and 7-Eleven located 5 minutes walk from hotel. Friendly and helpful staffs. Negative: Coming back from BTS station needs to walk about 15 minutes to Hotel.

I really enjoyed staying at Salil. Staff were very helpful in getting me to and from the hotel from the main road and recommending a local laundry. Also helpful with directions around the city. Always a friendly hello which made me feel at home.

I stayed here just before xmas 2022 and had an overall great experience. The staff was all smiles and friendly, especially Eye and Oui (If I am spelling the names right! Thanks for wonderful service all around. And they have a free shuttle to take you up to Sukhumvit road, which is convenient. Great location! Comfortable bedding! Everything was great!

Boutique hotel with great staff
The front desk staff are very helpful and friendly!! Praewwa was able to get repairs done quickly for some needed repairs in the bathroom. Also assisted with taxi booking. Luggage storage is also available as well as 24 hour security. Room is also cleaned very well on a daily basis.

Exactly like what it is in pictures.
We booked a superior room for two. But once we checked in, it was abit too small with not much room to move arpund. Hence we asked for an upgrade for about 12SGD per night. Service was good and everything went smoothly. Loved our stay here!

Very good value Hotel in Bangkok
We stayed 10 night in the Salil Hotel, 3 different rooms. Everything was clean, nice staff and free shuttle to Skytrain. Aircon works silent (you can still hear it, but it is not too loud). Free Wifi works at best in the morning, at night very slow (typical Thai internet), but for check mails still ok.

Having cake and eating it
The hotel is near Nana on the Skytrain line and 10-15 minutes easy walk from Sukumvit (excuse spelling) on the metro line. There are bars, restaurants, markets, the general chaos of Bangkok all 5 minutes walk. Yet it is in a very quiet part of a side street, so no trouble sleeping. The rooms are sweet, always very clean and spacious. The staff are also helpful and polite. Would definitely go again.

My experience at La Petite Salil 8 was far from satisfactory. The hotel is in dire need of refurbishment—scuffed walls, poor finishes, and basic amenities in disrepair. The bathroom tap spluttered and moved every time it was used. The air conditioning was another major issue. In the first room, the AC didn’t work, and despite reporting it, staff initially just set it to 20 degrees and told me to wait. After complaining again, maintenance spent ages trying to fix it but ultimately gave up, moving me to a new room. Unfortunately, the AC didn’t work there either. Adding to the frustration, the hotel’s shuttle service broke down during my stay and remained out of service for days, leaving me to walk down a long and narrow alley. Meanwhile, adjacent hotels had functioning shuttles, leaving me questioning why La Petite Salil 8 couldn’t afford to repair or replace theirs. While the staff were polite and tried their best, it couldn’t make up for the overall poor condition of the hotel. For the price charged, the quality was not acceptable. I wouldn’t recommend staying here until serious upgrades are made.

Great hotel close to everything
My second stay at this hotel. Great friendly staff are always eager to assist with any request you have. Great breakfast too so you will always be ready for a big day of shopping. Hotel itself is nice and quiet being a few minutes walk from Sukhumvit rd. Soi 8 has several other hotels and many apartment complexes each with security guards so the walk back to the hotel always feels very safe. The hotel also provides a shuttle service for those who do not wish to walk. There is a BTS station at the Soi entrance so you are easily connected to all the popular spots in the city. Overall, this is a great hotel. Excellent value for money.

Good location
Basic room was small but ok. Staff were very friendly, Breakfast was pretty good. Our room smelt strongly of cigarette smoke and we were moved into another room. There were some hairs floating around on the sheets and floors. The bathroom shower needed a good scrub! Overall it was ok, the location was quiet and close to everything. This small boutique hotel has a lot of potential and could be of a very good standard if rooms were cleaned a little more and showers updated.
