We can't say enough good things about Rive Gauche. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with lovely areas to sit and read, a fabulous breakfast nook area, and more. The rooms are designed for efficiency, and ours was spotless and comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful as we navigated our way to various spots. Taxis were called and arrived in moments. Our final drive to the airport was waiting ahead of time. This is a boutique hotel that goes beyond the basics in terms of professionalism and accommodations. We would choose Rive Gauche again in a heartbeat.

We had an excellent stay at Select Hotel - Rive Gauche. As Americans traveling without a lot of familiarity with Paris, this location next to the Sorbonne felt very relaxed and safe. We were walking distance to the Latin Quarter, and I felt that anyone in our party could walk alone to and from the hotel throughout the evening without great concern. Breakfast was very nice in the hotel. There are lovely little outdoor cafes next door to the hotel if you want an evening “people watching” and still be close to the hotel to fall into bed. The rooms are quite small, like you find in NYC, which is to be expected. But it was fabulous to know we were coming back to our air conditioned hotel after a day of walking in the heat of July. I would definitely return to this little gem of a hotel!
