Beautiful hotel with first class service
Absolutely superb hotel. From the moment we stepped in, to dinner with a number of guests and breakfast, nothing was too much for the always smiling staff. A group of us stayed here for Medica rather than pay over the odds for a mediocre hotel in Düsseldorf. Highly recommend and we’re made to feel special.

The human “battery recharge” is absolutely fantastic, 19th century charm, grace, service and warmth keep me coming back! It was a cool old palace. We loved walking the grounds and seeing the moat. There isn't much else around and there wasn't much to do at the hotel so we had to leave the place for fun. The restaurant was overpriced. It was a good experience but I don't think I'd go there again.

Nice hotel in pleasant surroundings
The hotel is very charming. While the building is an old castle the inside has been modernized completely. Bathrooms are superb- looks beautiful and high quality. The AC was not cooling well enough for comfort though. Hotel grounds include a garden for strolling and an excellent restaurant, which is so popular with the locals that reservations are recommended. Service staff was very nice .
