Great service Terrible room
Debbie is as sweet as they come. She goes above and beyond to help. BUT Room 138 had a flooded bathroom and holes burned in the bedding. Moved to 139. The room is horrible. There was no hot water at all. Poor Debbie had to work a double because no one came to relieve her. She was so tired this morning, she fell asleep and didn't get coffee going. This is no way to run a motel.

Understand what you are getting yourself into.
Front desk was very helpful and nice. The room was a little outdated but comfortable. My only problem I had with my stay were the roaches!! I didn't think it would make any difference if I informed the front desk about the infestation. I was there for only one night and I left really early the next morning. But I'm sure property manager and owner knows of the problems that exist that hotel.

OK for the price - nothing fancy.
This is an older motel. for the price, it was adequate for a 1 night's stay. Room was clean. Bed average for Motel 6. There were stains on the bedspread, but ssheets were clean. Quiet, Great water pressure in the shower - probably the best thing going after a long day's drive from Cuba, NM. Would stay again.

Not Great!
I only stayed because I was alone. I would not subject my wife to this hotel. Although I had a non-smoking room, it smelled of stale smoke. The shower head was not anchored to the wall. Overall cleanliness was subpar. There was the odor of "pot" in the hall. One step above camping!

The first thing we saw in our room was Burns in the bedspread. The "white" wash rags in our room were a tannish brown. I went to the desk for cleaner ones, and the clerk went to the laundry for us. She could only find 1, so we went to Dollar General and bought new wash cloths and bleach for the tub. We stayed out until bedtime. When we got back to the room, there was a new wet spot on one of the beds. Thankfully it was on the bed our luggage was on, and the drip missed our bags. Elk City, OK was and AWESOME little town, and we enjoyed our one night in town.

The hotel is dated but my room was clean with A/C, tv that worked and a very good hot shower! The stairway area definitely needed cleaning. Parking lot in and out areas could have the pot holes fixed (they are rather large). It was a great location for my business and excellent price!

Horrible people
I was prepared to give a decent review before the hotel charged me twice for a room i already paid for. Then when someone from Hotels.com called them they lied about my check-in. They said i never gave my name which i did, even gave her my license. They claimed they didnt get paid for the room even though i had proof. The clerk that checked me in gave me a room with someone else already in it, then sent me to the room that the other guest was supposed to have. I will never stay there again and i will tell anyone asking not to stay there.

Give Debbie a RAISE
We broke down about 20 miles from this town. We were hot and tired and so sad. Debbie and her crew made everything perfect. I cannot rave enough about her and the rest of the folks at this motel. The room is a better one for Motel 6. Not perfect, but I love that I can bring my Chihuahua's. I am so thankful for these people. I will definitely stay here in the future
