Dirty don’t waste you money
Do not stay at this hotel it’s filthy! The bed are hard the bathtub was dirty and thee were spider webs on the balcony that looked like they had not been cleaned for months. I had to ask room service to come and clean the bathtub as soon as I got there and even after they “cleaned it” there was still old hair and dirt in the bathtub . The walls are paper thin and the couple having sex next tj my room was extremely loud! On top of that the balconies connect so you can literally step over a 3 ft rail that connects them and go into the other persons room! Terrible! That’s not including I asked for my trash to be taken out no one ever came or brought more coffee for my next day so I had to take the trash out myself. Not what I expect when I go to a hotel will never stay here again!

Go elsewhere!
Stay some place else! To start my stay, I waited over an hour for their shuttle, called them 4 times, they lied to me about the shuttle being on the way. Finally, they admitted the shuttle driver had gone home. They recommended I take a taxi at my own expense. After much back and forth, the next morning, they finally refunded the cost of the taxi ride. There were many other problems. E.g., the TV was all unplugged and could not be turned on. They eventually sent a guy to put it back together and show me how to work the 2 complicated remotes - 1 for changing channels, and the other for changing volume. E.g, they give guests a coupon for a Free Drink, and in big letters, it clearly states Free Drink. But when you go to get your drink, you are told to turn the coupon over, read the fine print, and see that you pay for the 1st drink and the 2nd is free. E.g., they gave my a coupon for a free breakfast - 1 egg, 2 strips of bacon, 1 piece of white bread toast, and a small orange juice. $5 at McDonald’s will get you a better breakfast with less hassle. Go elsewhere.

Check in issues resoloved
I wasn't able to check in early. Which is fine and understandable. So, I waited 1.5 hours in the lobby where they could see me to let me know when my room was ready. However, my room was not ready at 3pm which is check in time. When I explained that I expected to have a room at 3pm, they supposedly then gave me a free upgraded room and a coupon for a buy one, get one drink at the restaurant on the 4th floor. It was greatly appreciated.

An ok night.
Overall a very nice place with an amazing view of SD from outdoor area on the 5th floor, room was typical, no views of anything from the room, shower curtain did not do its job and had to dry run off water that went onto the bathroom floor, lighting was very dim, bed was stiff, but unit CLEAN, staff was semi knowledgeable when asked random questions, for $180 a night i was expecting a little bit more hospitality but ended up paying just for the room and nothing more

Don’t do it
Bathroom was clogged when we got in the room. We called for maintenance and waited 30minute. Mind you we had to call twice. Not only that they charged us $150 saying we smoked in the room when we did not. Manager did not have good customer service and was rude.

Hotel has a great setup with beautiful views out to the San Diego Bay. But...... there was an odor of sewer. Not sure if it was backing up through the pipes. Wasn’t overpowering but it was there. Other than the odor, which may be gone by now, the hotel was great.

Disappointing and Loud
Save your time and money, or be prepared to be awaken before 8 am by overly loud men with walkie talkies clunking around “remodeling” the place, they were even playing music out loud! Writing this as I’m still here in my room. The room itself was alright, it smelled clean as we opened the door at first which was nice, but once we walked in, the room was something like “used to be a motel, but we kind of cleaned it up and now we call it a Hotel” kind of vibe. Still feels very much like a motel, and had random stains on the tub/counter. I don’t usually feel the need to write reviews, but I am quite disappointed with this stay.

TERRIBLE NEVER AGAIN!
I was moved twice in one evening. When I arrived there was only one girl working reception. There was a problem with reservation with the couple in front of me so a line formed behind me. She had to be on a phone with her manager on and off to solve the problem. When I finally got my room key upon entry room 234’s bathroom was flooded (I have video). I went to the front desk and the moved me to room 134. I unpacked and went to use the bathroom. The toilet wouldn’t flush. I went to the front desk and told now a fellow who was working there. He called maintenance and told me it would be fine. So I told him I’d go to the hotel restaurant. Upon my return after eating maintenance was just showing up. I went in with him, however now the bathroom ceiling was dripping from the flood upstairs. He told me I’d have to move again. Went to reception and they seemly annoyed to see me, they ask what the problem was and I explained. They called maintenance to verify. He confirmed. They now moved me to room 453. I finally went to bed. Next morning at check out I ask if I could be Compensated for all the inconvenience. The girl at the front desk told me that the manager isn’t in, and didn’t know what the problem was. I then re-explained everything that happened the night before. She took some notes, and told me her manager will call me when they come in. It’s been 36 hours no call… Nothing.
