Disappointing Birthday Getaway
I was supposed to receive a non smoking King Suite with a kitchenette and jacquzzi tub. I rec'd a King smoking room with neither the kitchenette or jacquzzi. The covers and sheets had burn holes, there were crumbs all over the floor to where I didn't feel comfortable walking barefoot, and the toilet clogged with minimal toilet paper. When I asked for a plunger, I was told, "Sure, come down and get it". At 11pm. When I went down to get it, there was no one at the front desk and they had left the plunger in a bucket in between the doors. Completely unprofessional. The sheets in the bed felt like plastic sheets and the blanket was so thread bare I considered running out for a sheet set and blanket. There were very few plugs in the room and the only one near the bed to charge my phone was behind the bed and it wasn't safe. It was clear the staff couldn't be bothered with anything and treated minor requests like...check in and asking for a plunger like a major inconvenience.

Not impressed…
First thing we noticed is the smell. Obviously a smoking room but that wasn’t as bad as all the holes in the comforter from cigarettes. The floor will turn your socks or feet coal black regardless. Housekeeping tried to open the door even with the lock in place. She was friendly but needs to give someone time to answer. Breakfast was good so there’s that. Obviously a lot of regulars who live there. Our second night we came back to the hotel and there was a huge fight. We hurried upstairs and I said we’d never do a Super 8 again.

The room looked nice, but would be alit nicer if they actually cleaned the rooms. The tv remote was crusty. There was stuff all over the counter and the floors seemed sticky. The breakfast was horrible. The biscuits tasted like crisco shortening.
