We stayed 2 nights on our way from Montreal to Niagara falls and Toronto, and we were not disappointed. I thought it could be noisy because of the proximity to the highway but it was not the case. Everything was clean, safe and we had very good nights. Nothing bad or weird to report. It might be a little bit outdated if you are picky, but I just care about safety, no annoyances and a good sleep, which it provides. I recommend this hotel. If you stay here, try the delicious Jeera indian restaurant on Fairview st. It was sublime. Also take the time to drive the pleasant Lakeshore drive.
