My husband and I have stayed here three times in the previous 2 months. Each time we've experienced issues with room cleanliness and/or the functionality of an item. We've made adjustments each time and made excuses justifying why the room was so inexpensive.
I've been hesitant to review as I don't like bashing small businesses, but they've been consistently disappointing in customer service, cleanliness, and maintenance.
Pros:
- Cost is hard to beat
- Location is great and away from a lot of the traffic
- No frills to pay for (breakfast, pool, etc)
Cons:
- Live-in staff make themselves very comfortable, and that seems to take away from the professionalism. (The first check-in was around 8 pm. The office was locked, so I had to use a Ring doorbell to alert staff that I needed assistance. A woman opened a nearby door and told me she would be right with me. During check-in, she stated she had just gotten out of the shower. She had wet hair and was wearing a very thin nightgown without undergarments.)
- Standards of cleanliness are very low. (surfaces and floors were sticky, visible residue, urine on the wall near the toilet, toilet and tub not clean inside, towels and sheets are permanently stained but still in use, ice machine door is disgustingly smeared with grime from the many hands that have touched it...)
- Standards of maintenance are extremely low (warm fridge, electronic door lock issues, etc.)
