Room was clean and location good. Self contained is a bit much as has a small microwave and fridge.No staff on duty so any requests was through a scanner in your room. Would not want to stay more than 2 to 3 days. Not for us.

We had a 4 night stay in a spacious 1 bedroom unit. The hotel is in a great location, an easy walk into town. The carport, gardens and pool/ spa area are all reasonably well maintained. Upon arriving in the room there was a noticeable smell of mould and there were visible signs of mould on the bedroom curtains and bathroom window. As we arrived there after 3pm and there is no one at reception after 3 and the mould smell improved slightly after opening the windows and running the dehumidifier all day and night, we didn't report the mould until checking out. They did tell us at reception that we should have told them earlier and they would have done something about it. Other problems included the sliding door to the balcony (hard to open, screen door didn't latch properly), the lounge (didn't look clean, was saggy and uncomfortable),sliding door to bathroom (gets stuck half open and doesn't latch properly). Not sure why there is mould but we were empying about 10 litres of water from the dehumidifier every day. Overall, not a bad place to stay, just think it needs a bit of maintenance in the room and a deep clean, including all the curtains plus some new furniture.
