Basically Magnificant
The Magnificant is 200m from a tube station. This station Loaximen is very strategic connecting directly to one of the Shanghai airports. The rooms are spacious and given the hotels location I had a clear view of Shanghai tower breakfast is comprehensive. The hotel offers laundry. Basically Magnificant.

Everything was okay and it was quite cheap. We got to check in early. Views from the room were great (10th floor). Our only real complaint is the temperature of the room. We were there in December and the room was very cold because the cold outside air came in through the windows and there was no heating system we could have used (only for cooling the room down).

The low rating of service is due to the deposit policy. The policy requires you to deposit 200rmb and then the staff gives you a note, and threatens to not return the deposit if you do not have the note when checking out (even if you return the key card and leave the room in good conditions).
