We arrived well before check-in, and the staff were happy to store our luggage securely for the day, which was much appreciated. We were also given a ground-floor room as previously requested. I was travelling with a smoker and found the smoking arrangements easy and straightforward—much more so than in Australia, and similar to what we experienced elsewhere in Europe. There was some confusion in the morning, as no one seemed able to confirm the cost of breakfast, so we chose to skip it and eat elsewhere. The room was comfortable and perfectly adequate for our one-night stay, and the hotel’s location was very convenient—especially being so close to the Place d’Italie metro station.

Staff is very nice but the bathroom smelled, they don’t have a safe in the rim which is a terrible inconvience and the rooms are tiny. A bit far from the touristic sites.

The room was clean but building is old. The breakfast was very basic. If you wanna stay here dont get the breakfast option. No water bottle in the room but there was a fountain downstairs. It is too far from attractions and if you are visiting Paris as a tourist you will find travel time annoying. The cleaners dont do a great job, one day we returned and the bathroom was untouched so we reported and they cleaned.

Overall, the IBIS people were nice and friendly, but we had an issue with the parking. on the website you said the parking would be included but once we arrived to the hotel they said no I’ve been asked to pay extra to €23 for parking. that’s very expensive and it wasn’t expected and it was not really stated clearly on your website. For future customer, you should make it clear because parking is a big issue anywhere, especially when visiting big cities like Paris.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the room we were provided. The room, advertised for 3 people, was far too small and uncomfortable. It was clearly designed for a maximum of 1 or 2 people, and there was not even enough space to open our suitcases properly. The layout and design of the room were poor, and it made our stay very inconvenient and unpleasant. It seems that more thought should be given to the comfort and needs of your customers rather than just maximizing profit. Unfortunately, this has been the worst accommodation experience I’ve ever had, and I strongly suggest you reevaluate how you market and design your rooms to avoid future dissatisfaction.
