Beautiful hotel but needs some updating
The hotel is lovely and on a large expansive beach. We enjoyed the evening cocktails, and the made to order omelettes at breakfast. Beds and pillows were horrible and we got no sleep in the five nights we were there. Requested firmer pillows, but the ones they gave us were just as bad. They were working on the pool while we were there so not only did we not have access to that but the jackhammering and generator created so much noise we could not enjoy any of the outdoor space. No accommodation was made for that or for the fire alarm that went off three times in one day. All the staff was pleasant, but the front desk was not particularly helpful with any issues we had. We did use the concierge to book tickets one day so that was good. We would give this hotel another try.

Nice Get Away
Very nice property. Great location. 5 miles from downtown St. Augustine. Beach is beautiful. Front desk personnel can be a bit curt. They aren't the most hospitable, but they're ok. The property does hit you with multiple fees. An amenity fee, a parking fee, a this fee, a that fee. So what it comes down to is that you're prepaying for the happy hour, breakfast, towels ect...after paying 400+ a night. It's nice, but you're paying for it.
