We loved this boutique hotel. Close to everything lots of places to eat. Funky area. awesome rooftop terrace. Staff were lovely and hotel generous size rooms. Loved it - will stay again

One night stay.
Quick one night stop. Unfortunately not much sleep as the noise from the street resonated through the night. We were four floors up, felt like we were at street level, though I am a light sleeper. Convenient location to the Space Needle. Bit over priced.

We chose this hotel based solely on the views it offered, and it did not disappoint in any way at all. The hotel is directly across from Dick’s Burgers, and near a number of other delicious food spots, and within walking distance to the Seattle Center where you can catch the monorail into downtown if you so wish. It’s down the block from a Safeway, and the hotel also provides complimentary items should you have forgotten any toiletries. There’s also infused water and coffee 24/7 in the lobby. BUT THE VIEW. The rooftop terrace offers almost 365• views of the city and the waterfront. You walk out from the elevator and an unobstructed view of the space needle and the skyline sit right in front of you. A little further and the water is directly in front of you with plenty of seating and heating elements to allow you to take it all in as long as you’d like.

Don't stay at Mediterranean Inn. Horrible service.
When I checked in, I was greeted by a pleasant a very kind young lady, who informed me that as a VIP member of Expedia I was entitled to a late check-out of 2 hours from the usual 12pm. She was also kind enough to upgrade me to a king. I wish I could remember her name to give her proper credit. Things changed drastically the following morning when I began receiving phone calls to my room beginning at 11am, well before the regular check-out of 12pm, not to mention my late check-out that was supposed to be 2 hours later at 2pm. As a rule, I never answer the room phone and anyone that knows me knows to call my cell. Anyway, I was trying to enjoy the rest of my time there and wasn't about to stop to answer the phone. All in all, 4 calls were made to my room between 11am and 1230pm. I was now enraged and irate by the fact I was being harassed by phone. Very soon after the 1230 call, the front desk was knocking at my door. When I answered, some woman said she was front desk, and demanded it was time for me to leave. She even insisted she spoke to me on the phone, be even though I never answered the phone. I reminded her that I was a VIP member of Expedia and had a late check-out, but she insisted there was no such thing and that I was late checking out. She left after telling me she would give me until 1pm. So now my morning was nothing close to enjoyable and my entire stay was ruined, I was furious. Don't stay at the Mediterranean Inn. The service is horrible!

A very good 3 star hotel
I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting much given the price and the 3 star rating but this hotel is incredible value. Yes, it is a little old on the inside, but it is immaculate and the rooms are very well equipped for a relaxing break. The staff are all really friendly and happy to help. The location is ideal for most tourist attractions and anything further afield is a pleasant walk or quick Uber / Lyft ride away. The best feature - the view from the roof terrace. If the weather is kind to you then I would argue the view is better than the Space Needle, because you can actually see the Space Needle, out in the fresh air and the hotel welcome you to take your own bottle of wine onto the terrace to chill out and watch the sun go down - bliss.

Parking fee extra! OUCH!!!
Had never been to Washington before. My son moved there from Flagstaff AZ last summer. So myself and brother drove there from Riverside ca. to visit. Fast trip. My only gripe was paying an additional fee for parking. had asked me about and I said I needed parking. It should of been in my total already.
