The highs and the lows of our stay
The best things about this place are the location, the high rise great views if one is lucky to get a top floor unit, the heated pool, jacuzzi and the well maintained grounds and facilities. The worst were the condition of the bedroom - very old bed and mattress, cupboards, and old worn out smelly dusty carpet, both long overdue for replacement; as well the lack of proper cleaning all over - dirty windows, inside cupboards, bathrooms, dry eggs yolk on plates, hairs on smelly couches etc. Unit did not smell or look fresh and clean upon entry which created quite unpleasant impression.

Good location is about it for the positives…!! Building is old and really needs a refresh. Nearly $400 a night far too much for this place… Everything was clean for most of our 4 night stay. The garage had items scattered all throughout and looked a bit like a storage ground for old unwanted items…!! Our unit was tidy enough and had modern fittings. I chatted to other people staying and they said their units looked like they had not been changed since built. Really old fittings etc.. Ammenities were ok… Pool was good though needed a good clean around the edges. Communal areas were tidy. Rear fence near the putt putt had fallen down and there were old rusty gates tied onto the fence to replace it..?? All in all, around 3 star at best for a 4 star price. Plenty of nice places in the same area.. We will not be returning and are disappointed considering the usual standards of accommodation we are used to for the money…

Wonderful stay we will be back
Fantastic stay, great facilities. We had a 2 bed appt on7th floor. Kitchen was a bit tired, but adequate with good pots/pans, plenty of crockery and cutlery. Rest of apartment was well furnished with great views.beds and linen were spotless & comfortable. A few areas of detail were missed in cleaning but overall pretty clean & good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Any issues were dealt with immediately and willingly. Excellent tennis court with booking system and floodlights. Best to Take your own tennis balls, there are rackets to borrow if you need them. Beautiful heated pool, hot tub and sauna.great pool for toddlers too. Mini golf well kept. We didn’t use games room but it looked good with table tennis, air hockey, pool table, ( need to pay for some). The road is a bit noisy but we didn’t really notice it as the noise blurs in with the sound of the waves! Location across from surf club great for swimming in sea. Local surfboard hire $30 for 4 hours.

Disappointed
Our 4 day booking through Hotel.com caused problems because we had to change rooms, the booking system doesn't show individual rooms available. We were told by the manager we would be changing rooms on the second day. We waited around for our new room only to be told by the manager he made a mistake and it was the 3rd day we were changing rooms. this more or less wasted the second day and then the 3rd morning. Although the manager accepted he'd made a mistake the way he spoke to us was very disappointing. When we suggested he leave us where we were so we weren't inconvenienced any further and put the people we were vacating for in the unit we were changing to for one night, he refused and his comments were very degrading, coming across that they were more important because they were staying 7 days. He did offer us for an extra night free but we couldn't accept it for work commitments on the Monday. He then said we could have a 2pm check out Sunday. When we changed rooms on the Saturday he reversed this saying we had to be out by 10am Sunday. This was a weekend away for my wife's birthday only for her to end up in tears with the way we were spoken to and treated, like we were second class. Very disappointed even with $25 voucher he gave us.
