    OK Travelers

    Nice hotel, comfortable bed, friendly and helpful front desk attendants & shuttle to & from airport Unfortunately us and 8 other people couldn’t get waited on or order taken for drinks. The 2 waiting the bar were only waiting on their Friday night group which all of them left through the front door when the bar closed. We had to walk over to Wendy’s drive through. It was late in the evening when we all arrived from the airport via their shuttle. We all laughed about being of the wrong color (white) now know how people of color felt first hand! Hopefully the people who told the manager the next morning got the point across.

    I realize hospitality is affected due to COVID, but I’m posting my experience. I arrived over an hour after check-in and had to wait almost another for a room-there were many others. About an hour after I got into my room, another guest was given my room key, luckily it was locked so he couldn’t get the door open

    Not helpful at all!

    We booked through hotels.com. We knew we were going to arrive after midnight, so I called the front desk to let them know. I was told that hotels.com had overbooked and that they had no rooms for us. The desk clerk said he would call around and find us rooms at a nearby hotel. He told me to call back in about 20 minutes or so. I gave him my number, and asked him to just call me back when he found something, and he said he would do that. However, he never called back, and when we got to the hotel the girl at the desk knew nothing about it, and said sorry about it, but it was hotels.com’s problem and and there was nothing she could do for us. By then it was too late to book anywhere else for the night (spent the next 3 hours on the phone with hotels.com) so our family ended up trying to sleep in our van in the hotel parking lot!

    Terrible, lengthy check-in and no room

    We arrived at 1 am after a late flight and along with three other sets of guests we stood at reception for over 20 minutes before someone even spoke to us. The reception staff didn't even acknowledge we were there and stood talking on the phone. 1 am was now 1.20 am. Finally, we were able to give our reservation number and were told there were no rooms. It turns out this wasn't the case (after they had called around other hotels to see if they could re-accommodate us). We made several suggestions on how to proceed. It was now 1.45 am... finally the receptionist went to check a room to see if it was available, came back, walked us to the room, and gave us a set of linen to make up our own sofa bed. It was after 2 am. and over an our after we arrived at the hotel. Awful.

    It was okay. They were very busy with only one person at the front desk. The in room coffee pot did not work and the shower head was broken. The staff was very pleasant and I felt sorry for the person at the registration desk.

    I overpaid

    The room we originally had was awful. The tub had rust and mildew. The light didnt work. The toilet didnt flush. We changed rooms. The staff was super nice and the manager was super accomodating. The breakfast buffet was honestly one of the best Ive ever had. I would go in just to buy the buffet. I just wish it was cleaner in the rooms.

    There was food on the sheets, contacted guest services they stated it would be fixed prior to us returning to the room. Got back later that evening and nothing was done. Contacted guest services again in which he said he didn’t know who told me that but he just started his shift and they don’t do room services due to covid. I explained due to covid there definitely shouldn’t have been anything on the bed and the room should’ve been cleaned prior to us coming. They offered to change rooms but it was late at night and we were leaving in the am so they just brought up additional sheets. Won’t stay here again

    The staff at this location were great! If you have the chance, take advantage of the breakfast. Everything was so good! The only thing that I was disappointed in was the pool area. It states online that the pool is heated. It is not. In fact, it was ice cold. The floors in the pool area are also extremely slippery. Due to everything else being fantastic with our stay, these small details are only minimially diappointing!
