Inexpensive hotel
This is one of the least expensive hotels in Miami (Coral Gables), but they try to do a nice job. The staff is great! The building is old and also inside the rooms it is not very luxurious. If you don't want/have much money to spend it is not a bad option.

Hidden Gem in Coral Gables
This hotel does not get the respect it actually deserves and I had a very enjoyable stay. The location is ideal and very walk friendly and all of the staff were extremely nice and attentive.

Bugs/fruit flies all over in room - beds/furniture - not updated since 1974 - bed very uncomfortable- staff - lazy and rude - long road trip - females needed to use lobby bathroom but staff wouldn’t let them - little/no toilet paper in room - staff refused to send up more - had to go to lobby and demand it - we are a no frills family - clean room - comfortable bed and friendly staff are all we need and they failed on all 3 aspects

The bed was at an angle so I felt like I was gonna roll off the bed. The toilet kept running. The noise did allow me to sleep very well. For the area of south miami that its in, I expected the building to be in better condition. That was a 50$ hotel, not 100$. I would n9t stay there again.

Avoid at all costs
One of the worst hotels I’ve encountered in a while. Everything was run down, my room reeked of stale cigarettes, the toilet clogged, the ceiling was dripping with condensation from moldy air con grates (with a floor mat placed underneath as the “fix”, the veneer was peeled half off all the furniture, there were no blankets, no iron (but there was an ironing board), and the scars of half assed patch jobs and repairs were peaking through layers a paint. Please, be kind to yourself and stay elsewhere.

the hotel is located in a nice clean area closed to a Link rail station. The front desk charged my credit card a fee of less than 3 USD nevertheless the room was prepaid with Expedia and the condition of the rooms and hotel are outdated. I didn't ask why the fee is charged nor if it will be refunded. WIFI didn't work or exist. rooms and bathrooms are outdated.
