Threatened by the manager to charge us a full day because we were an hour late checking out which we already paid half price of the room to check out at 4 we checked out at 5 and she blew up the phone very very rude for no reason. She ended up charging me $84 extra so we basically paid $24 less then a whole night and we only were allowed to stay till 5, then told me she was being lenient on me like I was 10 yrs old. Just very rude person and can’t belive she actually charged me the extra $85 when I paid half the day already to check out 4hrs late. Service in restaurants were AWFUL. SLOW SLOW SLOW House keeping forgot to service the room 2/5 nights we were there. Maria was the name of the manager that called the room throwing threats out. Lol. 4–4.5star ???? NO WAY. BY THE WAY SPENT $2300 for 4 night with food and all because everything so over priced and she saw this on my bill and still had to get me for extra $84. Will not be going here again you can deff find better place.

Good 6.0
The hotel was very nice. The hotel beds were old it seemed to us. This hotel is so pretty and very nice for the money. I really can’t say anything thing bad about it. The staff is a very different story. We were treated so bad. A pool attendant stuck her hand in my child’s face and told her she didn’t care and she was going on break. Wasn’t her problem. My 11 year old was only trying to find out what happen to her towels. My 15 year old lost her bracelet, while on a snorkeling trip in key west. Front desk attendant told me, I would have to return to key west and find the old bracelet before she could give us another one. Yes your reading it right. Return to the ocean find broken bracelet and bring it back. Key west is four hours away. Really! Thank god the house keeper was more helpful and knew how to help get it replaced. Out of my the fifhy people we came in contact with. 3 was very nice, and helpful. The rest was rude and some were right out mean. The girl in the shop where we got coffee every morning. The man working out from for Valet, and house keeper. They were so nice. So helpful. There are many more things to share about how rude and mean the staff is at this hotel. I just don’t want to go on and on about it. If the staff was nice, even a little bit. This would be one of the best. The staff make this hotel Undesirable.

Beautiful property. That said, they bleed you dry for everything! Playa charged us $15 for one tiny strawberry margarita ! One bottle of water $5.99! We found a Publix food store and bought wine, beer, chips, Turkey & cheese, case of water, paper plates, utensils, bagels etc.. Expedia sucks and did not let you know about the $35 + tax resort parking fee, and you also have to pay $35 + tax resort fee, YOU FIND THIS OUT AFTER THE TRIP IS BOOKED!! 1st room, no balcony, used the washroom and the plumbing sounded like someone was drowning cookie monster! Back down the elevator to get another room, $55 a day upgrade! The room was better, but with resort, parking fees, and new room additional fees were additional $300 per day! We only ate out once a day which cost $69 to $80 at the least expensive dining option at the resort, we had bagels every morning in our room, sandwich in our room every night. NOT A GOOD TIME! The pool was nice but crowded for the later part of August. Beach was ok, lots of seaweed, the $35 a day resort fee allows you a beach lounge, but extra cost if you want a beach umbrella, or cover on the lounge. Outdoor pool bar, a Corona and Coors lite with the gratuity automatically added cost us $19! There were people smoking, drinking from coolers, large floating tubes in the pool, teens throwing footballs in pool and ocean and too many children screaming all day! NEVER BOOKING A TRIP WITH EXPEDIA OR THIS RESORT AGAIN! 6 days = $3000. Never Again!

Disappointment
I would not recommend this hotel for families with kids. The hotel is more of a business hotel which rents out the property for business conventions. This place was so crowded we could not enjoy our stay. The pool area is nice but the hotel has no restrictions on guests drinking around the pool ledges. people leave beer bottles and drink glasses all around the pool edges. We saw people spilling their drinks in the pool and yet no one there to stop it. I would not consider this hotel for families with little ones. Anyone thinking of staying at this property beware! The hotel or resort additional fees in addition to your room costs are so unfair. We rented a car used the hotel parking. They charge you $45 dollars per day plus $33 dollars per day for resort fee. $78 dollars per day for something that should have been included to begin with. in addition $300 per night for the room. the price is not worth it for this hotel. I took my kid to Orlando and stayed at the Polynesian hotel. That was a great property. not because of its obvious location but because the price reflects the service and attention that at the hotel at these prices should be like. beware of those hidden charges!

Exceptional 10.0
We loved the property! Great location, everything you could want from a beachfront resort. Of course the prices at the restaurants and bars were high but you expect that going into it. We had one experience that was very frustrating at the pool. A couple of guys showed up with a big glass bottle of alcohol and brought it into the pool, smoking and yelling and playing music on their speaker. All of which are against the rules but no one said anything. But there was plenty of places to go to get away from that trash, and we did. The other thing that was frustrating was that when we called before booking they told us the beach umbrellas was covered in the resort fee, but they are not. $22 a day, very expensive
