I have been frequenting this resort for over 10 years and I am a Hilton Honors member. I was at this resort two mothers days ago and enjoyed our stay. Seeing it had just had some improvements and rebranding we thought to utilize some of our available points to staycation this Mother's Day as well. What a disaster. The service, the valet, the amenities, not even close to what they previously were. The hotel booked a wedding, two proms, and had the holiday guests. They clearly did not plan for such a crowd. The valet wait was over an hour to drop off the car and almost two hours to pick it up. Ended up having to uber and missed our dinner reservation. The pool was so crowded no spaces were available to lay down. The beach was full of seaweed and unswimmable. Service by the pool was horrible. Asked three times for ice and water and never received it. Ordered a frozen drink and food and the drink arrived over 30 minutes later melted. The entire floor we stayed on reeked of marijuana and had kids running up and down. Couldn't sleep because of the noise. Mother's Day brunch was so crowded the restaurant offered a discount for people to take it in a bag and eat somewhere else. Truly ruined the Mother's Day weekend.

My stay at the Signia by Hilton was not the most pleasant experience. First of all, there were cockroaches in the room, which was very uncomfortable and disappointing for a hotel of this level. We reported the issue and were moved to another room, but not on the same floor where we were originally staying. In addition, one of our suitcases was damaged during the stay. When we mentioned it to one of the employees, her response was that there was nothing else they could do, which felt unprofessional and not very empathetic. I do want to mention that the valet parking service was perfect. The valet staff was very kind, efficient, and attentive at all times. Another issue during the stay was that both pools, the upstairs pool and the downstairs pool, were quite dirty, which also affected our experience. Overall, many of the hotel staff members were pleasant, but the front desk service, especially during check-in and check-out, was not very good. I expected a much more professional and well-maintained experience from a hotel of this category.

Fantastic hotel with an amazing location and a beautiful beach just steps away. The property is very clean and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. A special thank you to the housekeeping team, especially Isemariellie. She was always so kind, friendly, and attentive, and her warmth and dedication truly made our stay even more enjoyable. The only downside was the pool area flooring. After midday on sunny days, the surface around the pool becomes extremely hot, so hot that it can actually burn your feet. I’ve never experienced pool decking that heats up this much before.
