Was not aware we had to go to a separate building to check in. The individuals at the front desk didn't offer for us to leave our bags as we had to walk to a different location for check in. Then we checked in and walked back with our bags, got in a very rickety elevator to go up to the 7th floor. I cannot speak for the other floors, but the 7th was a disgrace. The floor number was scrawled on the wall in red paint that looked like someone used their finger, it was written over a number three which made it all the more confusing. The walls were filthy and needed serious rehab, when we got to the room the door would not open. The key worked, but the handle did not. Security came up and after fiddling with it discovered if you lifted up first then down it would open. The room itself was a pit, it was surface clean, but definitely needed to be renovated desperately. The small institutional sized window would not stay open unless you help it open. The table had a piece of cardboard wedged under one leg so it wouldn't wobble. All in all in was so disappointing especially since the photographs that are displayed not only on this site but at the location of the rooms are completely misleading and I find it hard to believe that they were actually taken in this hotel. Needless to say we checked out immediately and went to stay elsewhere. The way this place is promoted is a sham and I would not recommend this location to anyone ever.

Good 6.0
The only good thing I can say about this place was that its located in a wonderful area. Besides that everything from check in to check out was just horrible. Let me start off by saying they have signs of vallet parking yet when we arrived to check in there was no parking available for vallet and we were told to park in a garage near the hotel for $22 a day!!! Secondly check in was a joke the ladies at the reception were rude and very unprofessional. I only had 1 person infront of me and had to wait over 20 minutes to be attended. I almost cancelled the reservation all together only after 20 minutes after arriving. Once we finally checked in and had to pay all these "resort fees" and "daily fees" and "$42 parking fee" we had to take 2 elevators to get to our room. The hallway leading to our room smelled of mold and gas. The rugs were dirty and walls were stained with brown water spots. Finally we arrived to our room and I started to feel alittle more at ease room was comfy and had a stove and refrigerator but shower was horrible the water would go from burning hot to hot all by itself. It literally hurt to shower. Pointless to call front desk the phone just rings and rings. Wifi available yet no password was given. $40 to rent beach chairs!!! I'm a guest !! What was all those resort fees I paid in check in for!? Just ridiculous. I stayed 2 nights and not once was my room cleaned or towels changed. NEVER RENTING HERE AGAIN! My advise to everyone don't be fooled by this place!

Poor 2.0
HORRIBLE. Will never, ever return.
This was by far the worst hotel I have stayed in. Anywhere. It was so broken down, I don’t even know where to start. There were 3 elevators, but only one of them works. They service 8 floors, including the penthouse floor. Sometimes you have to wait 10 minutes for the elevator, and when you get in planning to go down, you have to go up with everyone else first, or vice versa. Sometimes the doors open and the elevator is too full for you, so you have to wait for the next one, OR take the stairs, which, SURPRISE, half the stairwells only go down to the 4th floor, then you have to find a different staircase to take. The bedding AND towels all had hair in them. All different lengths, and from who knows where on someone’s body. When they “did a full service on the room” to fix it, they didn’t even change the towels. I had to bring them to the front desk and wait 20 min for someone to bring new ones. When you call the front desk, usually no one answers and it just rings and rings. They have an entire south wing of the hotel 1st & 2nd floor is empty restaurant/retail space that is run down and dirty. The workout room STINKS of mold, and has black mold all over the ceiling tiles. The hot tub isn’t even close to filled all the way... only barely up to the jets. There is nowhere to eat inside the hotel except a little sandwich window that closes early. The front desk staff have bad attitudes (except maybe 1 or 2 of them) My advice: STAY AWAY!!!

You Couldn’t Pay Me To Stay Here Again!!!
Granted that we arrived earlier than we were expecting to be there. When we arrived we started off at the 101 N. Ocean address but we found out from the so called security that we had to go way back to the street entrance across from where we were staying to check in. The building that we checked in at was totally different from where our room was like night and day. The check in area was better in appearance. You can see that they were trying to maintain the entrance area to give you a false sense of decency. The woman at the counter spent a great deal of time on the phone with what seemed to me to be an unhappy guest. She was definitely frustrated with him because nothing she said to him seemed to make him happy. Since we were early they offered to watch our belongings until we were able to check in. Later while waiting in the lobby another couple came in upset about the conditions of the hotel refusing to stay and demanding their money back. Which really made me nervous about what we were getting ourselves into. However after a long wait the maintenance worker felt that he needed to expedite our check in and went to speak with the front desk about checking us in. When the check in process was complete they then informed us that the elevators were not working and that we would have to use the service elevator. The building we were staying in should have been condemned. There were abandoned stores in the lobby the place seemed seedy. I wasn’t comfortable at all. Just don’t!!

Unprofessional, unclean and very outdated
The best part about this resort was the valet. They were curtious and informative. The check in process gave me a headache. I arrived well after my check in time and still took over 20 minutes to even get my room keys. There we multiple workers behind front desk with two way radios blame shifting why rooms were not ready. My attendant had to speak over them and I still had trouble hearing her, not that she seemed to care. My next headache was trying to obtain a luggage cart for my things. The concierge was going out of his mind again with the two way radio. I was trying to be overly nice in order to get his attention and my things up to room , which from my understanding is his job to garauntee customer satisfaction, but at this point to be able to start up to my room would be nice considering 30 mins. I would have done all this myself , but they chain the cart so u absolutely need concierge help. My room was nasty! I had some bleach wipes with me so I immediately wiped down room before unpacking. My next adventure was to the fitness room which was next to impossible to find. I had to go through a time warp of an abandoned mall area from the 80's (no joke). What they called a fitness room was disguisting. I really just needed some time on treadmill and I was out. Nothing appeared cleaned, well, since the 80's. I got through the treadmill without touching too much and I was gone. I honestly felt less healthy walking out of there thinking I caught some fungus respetory thing.
