Very good staff, helpful. Room a bit spartan, no air-con, no fan, no refrigerator, no safe but we slept well. Nice and quiet overnight.

Not so comfortable hotel
Unfriendly and overbearing staff in breakfast restaurant, outdated decor, stained carpet flooring in our room, mould in the bathroom. Breakfast not so great.

The breakfast was very good. The room was clean. Our only complaint was that we couldn't get the wifi to work.

Fine hotel, just quite far from anything
Here for a wedding. Hotel was great' the location was terrible though! Far north, outside the city.

Ok but needs refurbishing.
The staff was very nice. Breakfast was simple but OK.
The beds were very clean , the same with bathroom but the carpets and walls have seen better days. The room needed serious updating.
The wifi was not working too well.
The problem we had was that I was alone with two small children. Our room was on ground floor. With 35 degrees outside and no air con inside we had to have windows open. It was a bit of a stress as one could easily reach the big windows from outside (we were on street level). So in the end I closed the windows for the night and we sweated through.

Long noicy at the street side
The receptionist on checkin did not have his 'warming welcomming day' - we had a 3 person room booked and were given a 2 single bed DZ room [no posibility to have our daughter with us in 1 big grand lit...we had to change for a 3 bed [singles] room. As request I had asked for a NON smokers room, which was not available when we arrived at 23.00 after a 9 hrs drive. We got a room at the street site which was noicy till 1 am - and even on sunday moring busses and lorries started at 5 again. All in all a short night with not a very long sleep. Breakfast was very good and [over ??]complete. The breakfast lady offer even more thsn on display was friendy and helpfull, even at 7 am on a sunday morning ! She made a lot good !

Dismal, run down
The hotel photo is a bit misleading. It is actually a very plain block building. Lots of rust in places there shouldn't be. Parking is across the street but is ample. Room was small. No air conditioning, very warm and humid so uncomfortable. Nothing is within walking distance -- have to drive everywhere. We hoped to do laundry during this stay, but the hotel guest laundry is really just a washer -- there's no dryer except for clotheslines strung back and forth between the walls of the laundry room (but we found a very nice little Laundromat in the center of Weimar and had a good time people-watching while our clothes washed and dried). The hotel staff was pretty nice, though.

You get what you pay for
The hotel is clean. The breakfast is really good. The staff is very friendly and supporting. The building itself sends you back about fourty years: our son told us, now he would know what it was like to life in the "DDR"...

Comfort Hotel Weimar
A good name - lots of comfort. Away from the city square - excellent bus service and 7 minutes to centre. Very pleasant staff who were relaxed and thoughtful.

No frills but top value
Hotel is very basic -- no frills is an understatement. However, for the price, you will battle to do better.

nice hotel
Even though the location isn't great, the bus ride to the city is easy enough. Breakfast buffet was very good. Problems with wireless internet (had to move to a spot with better reception than my room). There was a Weimar fee of 2 Euros a night that was not disclosed to me until I checked out.

decent hotel for decent price
The hotel is very good for the price I paid. The only thing is that there was no air conditioning (and I happen to go on a hot weekend) and that there was a 2 Euro/night fee that was not disclosed before I checked out.

Would return anytime
Maybe not the classiest place but definitly worth the price. More affordable than many others in the area and we were very comfortable. Most important, other than price, is the cleanliness of this hotel. Very clean!
