Location is good, the staff is nice. The room is quite old, with narrow and steep stairs, not suitable for mobile restricted person. Overall is OK.

Overnight stay before flying from Hobart
Comfortable one night stay overall apart from a noisy compressor at the back of the hotel which ran intermittently during the day & night. Stayed upstairs in the Stables. Kept the windows shut to muffle the sound & aircon on to cool the room. Some folks may find the noise too irritating & some may sleep through it. Otherwuse a comfy pleasant stay. Excellent large meal in the hotel that night. Turkey roast with all the trimmings. Easy walking to all amenities.

The room and bed were very comfortable. Friendly staff, easy stay for only one night. Loved dinner downstairs at a great old country pub. Friendly and beautiful town. Shower head and pressure not good. Carpet needs replacing.
