Finding parking was limited ,nearest Public parking lot was 3 blocks away, Furniture and carpet had stains, but in general housekeeping was good. Bed was very comfortable, nearby attractions and food. Staff was friendly and polite, overall a good stay for the price.

The hotel was great value for money. Located in a leafy side street away from the traffic but just 2 blocks from the beach Plenty of recent eateries nearby and round the corner from the hop on hop off bus stop. Yes the decor is a bit dated but the room rate and location more than make up for the cosmetic imperfections. Helpful staff, especially Paula on reception.

It was our second time in this hotel, with 12 years difference since our last stay. Not much has changed. It’s an “old school” hotel, but in a good way. Though not so modern (like many of the 3 story buildings in the south beach area) the hotel is maintained very well, it is very clean and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Its location is walking distance to Ocean drive, the beaches, Washington avenue and Lincoln road. The prices are very reasonable, especially compared to other hotels in the vicinity. Highly recommended!

We saw some negative reviews and were a bit worried, but our experience was very good. Our room was large, clean, and very comfortable bed. Front desk staff were very accommodating, and let us into the room ahead of check out time, as we had disembarked a cruise ship early morning. Staff were kind and caring. The property is a perfect example of the Art Deco era. It had a lovely vibe from the moment we checked in. The young women who checked us in was professional though light hearted with the ability to make one feel comfortable quickly. It was easy to walk everywhere from the hotel. We enjoyed the free coffee in the a.m. in their outdoor dining area. I would certainly stay there again.

The hotel was nice and the decor was very classic. The front desk staff was good, but when my family and I checked in the power went out for a few hours. Then I had an issue on Friday night with a gentleman who stated that he was security. My sister and I couldn't get in the hotel because the door was locked and we didn't have our card, instead of him asking which room and names he asked us for our room key and he was very rude. We waited for the rest of our family to get back 20 minutes later to get into the hotel

I've stayed at the hotel before and I really liked it, especially the location. The staff is very attentive and polite. The rooms need some improvements, they're a bit dated. The internet in the room I stayed in was very weak and sometimes didn't work.
