One of a kind hotel I have stayed in. The room was clean, has everything it needs, i dont know if it was just my understanding or not, but the floor was fantastically heated, which is another thing I love. The staff were accommodating and polite. It was quite an unexpected that housekeeping checked upon my room if If i like the room and have everything, which I appreciate so much of their hospitality, and I was able to ask for a few things from them and had it needed quickly.

The room was terrific but that’s where it stopped. On arrival we were told we could go to Thompson Restaurant within the building, we got ready and went down to find out there was a private function. The morning of checkout, we went to get a coffee in the attached coffee shop but it was closed till 10:40am, it was 11:11 that we were there and it was still closed. Nav at the front desk told us we could get coffee at the bar, we went to the bar, there was a sign “ wait here to be seated”, we waited 5 minutes while the waitress Lillian just looked at us, I called out and she finally came over, she had no idea what we were asking for. The service at this establishment has plummeted majorly. I would not return due to the lack of “Hospitality” by the front desk and cafe servers. The only person to display warmth hospitality was a young lady who spoke to us about Australia.
