This hotel is in a great location, close to the river and many restaurants as well as the University of Tampa. The staff were very helpful and the bedroom was a good size. The beds were very comfortable. The only drawback was the traffic noise, which could be heard from the room.

Nope!
Not recommended. Staff worker came into the room unannounced. Glad I could stop her before she got in too far. Not sure why she was even there. Overall, staff seemed lazy and uncaring about customers. Pool looked dirty. Toilet wouldn’t stop running and TV remote didn’t work properly.

We picked this hotel because of it's closeness to Tampa General Hospital. We were treated very well by all the staff. And should we ever have a need again we will pick this hotel!

Great hotel, poor location
The hotel and staff were great, however the surrounding area and parking was not. There was a shooting directly in front of the hotel on the night we stayed, and they only have valet parking which is $40 a night. There is a public paid lot across the street but I wouldn’t trust parking there with the amount of vagrants walking around near the hotel. If this hotel was in a different area I would stay again, because we did enjoy the room and amenities of the hotel.

Front desk and staff was great. The overall cleanliness was poor! Our bathroom was dirty and the elevator was gross! Carpets were stained and dirty in the hallways. Beds were great just like any Marriott! Good stay it just needs some good thorough cleaning

Room was very small for a pull out couch. Difficult to maneuvers around bed and couch. The “bistro” needs some upgrades. Requested linens for pull out but we ended up having to go hunt them down. Hotel def needs a remodel (I.e. hallway carpets very old and worn). Did not think cost per night was equal to quality of hotel.

Well. When I came into check, the front desk clerk, a man, did even acknowledge me. Then another clerk appeared from the back and asked me if I had been helped. The other clerk said, "She is waiting for her husband." How do you know dude???? You never asked me!!!! Don't always assume that the man is in charge of everything. I t made me mad!!!
