Very good
Very good hotel in a good area near other hotels and upscale shopping malls. We had a standard room which was a bit tight for our bags now that king beds are standard but for three nights it was fine.

Don’t stay during pandemic.
The only issue I had was first room I checked into had soap scum and bottle marks on the counter from the previous guest which indicated that the room was basically wiped down and not cleaned properly which was disappointing considering we’re in a pandemic. The other minor thing is that I wish they would have relayed info on not offering room service since there is no water or anything in the mini fridge or cleaning the room each day (but again this is Covid related, I just wished they would have informed me prior). I ended up going down stairs and asked if there was a machine or something for water and was told they didn’t have anything but did offer me a bottle of warm water.... there’s also no ice in the place right now either. Would I stay again, yeah probably but not during a pandemic but I didn’t have choice and had to be in town and wanted something on the nicer end. I’m sure with regular circumstances the hotel is great, but not relaying info was kind of a bummer.

won't stay again
Very disappointed since the pictures I was provided weren’t what my room looked like. I took my boyfriend there for two nights and 3 days for his bday and our view was of other buildings. The room was tiny and the shower leaked. Was not happy with it at all. Room was clean and front desk was nice

Services lacking
Was not told there would be no maid service for my second day stay. Had to go to front desk to get towels , coffee, etc my self. Had to juggle all back to the room. Had to go back down because there was no ice bucket. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Room was very small. Furniture was dated. Bed was comfortable but the pillows were awful. Overall the hotel could use some updating.

I must start by saying the location of this hotel is perfect! A block from Mich ave and a shirt walk to the lake. However, our hotel room was dirty upon arrival. The sheets had dirt maks on it, the night stands were dusty, and when I went to take a shower, there were clumps of someone elses hair all over the shower. It obviously wasnt cleaned before.

Pictures are not up to date online. Hallway carpets are filthy and in room carpet too. Elevator is old and dirty and front desk didn’t even verify my ID. Front desk was chatting and ignored us upon arrival. Great location but very sketchy people outside by exists. Disappointed.
