Just what was needed for a quick stay. Air con is quite loud and they could do with an upgrade on their pillows. Otherwise all in all good for it’s location.

Great location with very helpful staff. Close to the Metro and lots of food and sights in walking distance. Room can be a bit noisy at night but nothing we couldn’t sleep through. Would stay again.

Friendly staff and close to downtown LA
The hotel is in a very handy location. Walking distance to downtown L.A. and eating places. The hotel room is quite small probably suitable to max two people as otherwise there is not enough space for the luggage. The hotel is dated but quite clean. Hotel staff are quite professional and very friendly and helpful.

Basic but does the job
Very small and basic room, but in a good location with friendly and helpful staff

Clean & tidy, Close to metro
Stayed 2 nights, Close to rail ‘Metro’ for access to ‘red line’ to universal studios & Hollywood. To get hot water in the apartment we were in you had to have it on the cold setting? Had to go to reception to clarify what the deal was.Reception, whilst helpful on questioning, didn’t really volunteer helpful information.

The property is excellently maintained and clean. But unfortunately, the room I was assigned did not have WiFi, the tv did not work and there was only a shower in the bathroom that did not have running water.

Poor 2.0
Very disappointed
Worst place I’ve ever stayed! It is not what it looks like in the pictures. The elevator smelled like melted crayons, as soon as we exited the elevator to our room a drunk old man stumbled out of his room with an ironing board and left it in the middle of the hallway. The room was extremely tiny and the WORST part was that we paid for a king bed but got two twin beds pushed up against each other! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Cheap hotel prices means cheap hotel
It was decent but not like oh wow this place is gorgeous, I mean the lobby was nice, the staff was friendly! But the room was honestly raggedy. Their was chipped dressers, burn marks on the tables, we paid extra for a pull out sofa and once the bed was pulled out there was no exiting the room, it blocked the door! Seriously should be a safety hazard. The room was extremely small. The bed felt so stiff and not comfy at all.

Good 6.0
Good location. Cozy room with a few defects
The surrounding Civic Center area was fairly walkable, and I found $11/night paid parking a few blocks away. Just a few issues: - Very slow old elevator - The room was small and the bathroom door and shower door hit each other if both opened at the same time - The TV was small and had a whole column of dead pixels going down the center (permanently greenish) - The shower's faucet handle was loose and spun around and around, so it took a lot of trial and error before we could figure out which position was "hot" (around 7 o'clock) The room was quiet, though, and the sheets were clean. The heat/AC was a standard motel PTAC and although noisy, did the job and did not smell.
