Gran Hotel Havana

The 24-hr check in is misleading on this website. When we arrived at 9:30am, we were told that check in time is 2pm so we walked around the area and came back at 2pm. Only one of our rooms was ready. The front desk staff told us that they would call us once the second room was ready. 2:30 pm came and went so I called downstairs and they said a room was available (ok...why didn’t I get a call then). I had requested two beds in the room and asked the person delivering the keys if this was the case. He said that the room indeed had 2 beds. However, this was not the case. We had to go downstairs and tell front desk that there’s only one bed in the room. They said they were able to separate the large bed into 2 beds. We were running late for our appointment so we had to leave the hotel as they were doing this. Overall, our room was not ready by check in time and we were quite disappointed. Also, I wouldn’t bother paying extra for club room. There aren’t many refreshments, just muffins and donuts and some fruits on the floor.

Excellent service rooms very comfortable. Staff very helpful in findings things for us to go to like what to see and many restaurants that they recommended.

Not to far to walk from airport bus, on arrival hotel looked lovely with all the Christmas lights on From the moment we arrived all of the staff were so friendly and helpful, the room was a good size and very clean. We only had breakfast at the hotel which was nice with plenty of choice. Great view from roof terrace nice to sit and relax up there, We will certainly return to this hotel again and would recommend to anyone looking for a reasonably priced good hotel

Amazing service and the breakfast was delicious!!

The location was great, and most, if not all, of the staff, spoke English. They were also very friendly and accommodating. We had a superior room with a terrace on a high floor. Our view was an office building, but we were away during the day, and the workers are gone at night, so really no big deal. We found the rooms to be a bit dated but comfortable. The price was very affordable, and we would say it more than met our expectations for this price point.
