Good hotel near the railway station
I can highly recommend this hotel except for a few minor exceptions. Personally I didn’t like the bed it was really quite hard but others might like a really firm bed. It’s within walking distance of the Gare du Nord railway station which is a big advantage if you want to travel elsewhere or just to the airport. However the area is very average and gets worse as you walk further away from the station. I would not recommend walking around too much at night. The rooms are typically small but quite average for Europe and well presented. The staff were particularly helpful and the breakfast was more than generous. This hotel has a lovely ambience. Nevertheless I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Mass Transit Convenient 3 Star Experience
I stayed at this Hotel at the tail end of a 2 week wedding trip to a few countries in Europe. All hotels I stayed at were listed as 4 stars. My comparison to hotels elsewhere in Europe is that this is a solidly 3 star hotel. 4 Star is too generous for this facility. The Check in Experience. There elevator was broken and it did not take us to the 5th floor. We arrived with 4 bags and no one offered to take them to our room even though there was a broken elevator. There was also a confusing sign in the elevator that stated that we should take the lift to the 4th or sixth floor and then get off an transfer to another "lift" to get to floor 5. The Lift referenced were actually steps. Not a 4 star experience by any stretch. The Rooms were clean although they were very small and needed some minor repairs. There were loose tiles in the shower on the floor and paint missing on the bathroom wall and towards the closet area. Again not a 4 star experience. The staff was generally nice although one of the front desk people consistently asked us to return our plastic room key upon exiting. Which from our perspective was totally unnecessary and a nuisance. The fitness facility was subpar like most European hotels it lacked any weight system, anyone with any muscle tone would lost mass like an astronaut in space leveraging such a gym. To their credit the hotel did find us a local gym where we could work out and called them translating to us. All in all it was a good but not 4 star

Beautifully decorated, convenient, comfortable bed
The bed was truly amazingly comfortable. Loved the high end design for budget price. The front desk made the best recommendation to walk to Sacre Coeur which is 15 minutes away. The Church was spectacular with views across the city. Go at sundown and watch the Eiffel Tower glitter as night falls. Then go inside to view the beautiful and intricate mosaic artwork inside. This is all free. The surrounding area gets increasingly wonderful as you approach the hilltop on which the church is located. There is a tram that will take you up. Or burn off some Croissant Calories with about s half dozen flight of steps. Around the church are all very local restaurants you should try. We went there the next morning on Sunday to discover a delightful flea market and place flor brunch on Rue Dunkirk. The hotel itself is in a busy urban area and is convenient to one of the main metro/rail stations, Gare du Nord. One thing to note is limited spa hours that come with room fee. Pay more for after hours. Over all an memorable stay. Loved it!

2 Blocks from Garde du Nord Train Station
Super close to Garde du Nord train station. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy at night. Not a great deal of high end French food. Had to hop on the "Underground" to go to dinner. Ask for a room with courtyard window...We were on the street side it was really noisy. Staff was great. Shower was weird, there was a 1/2 wall and water spilled out onto the bathroom floor each time we showered. Room is very tiny but who spends time in the room in Paris? Wifi was OK but that was the case no matter were we were in Paris. "Underground" is the key to getting around just try to avoid evening rush hour, it was packed! Eiffel Tower is under construction at the base, buy tickets in advance. Hotel has two bicycles you can use but the traffic is nuts we opted out in fear of getting in an accident.

Cozy and pretty
A cozy and cute spot. A bit on the small side - but fine if you just need a comfortable and quiet place to rest. Luckily, I did not have to work since the wifi was slooooow. It was a little disappointing that there was no complimentary breakfast - but there was a discounted one for guests staying a few nights. My room was overlooking the cafe, so having people outside the window talking at 8 am was not the best. As for the spa downstairs, I did not purchase a massage but I did visit the hamman and sauna area for 45 minutes - it was quiet and relaxing with really pretty lighting and ambiance - and complimentary tea! I think a fair price for the value - just be warned that it is small and that the internet is slow. I chose the area for the proximity to the train station - but there are much cooler areas in Paris for certain.
